Xemnas, cause he's badass and has a funny name if u jumble his name.

tutti frutti. I would have to go for Xemnas. He seemed to have far more development as a character in general, as opposed to Ansem SoD, where he just jumped in from the back seat with little to no info on and little background. Also, I find that Xemnas had more of an agenda, instead of being focused about the darkness.

This is a really good question because after finding out Ansem SoD and Xemnas are the Heartless and Nobody of AX, it never even crossed my mind in all of the years I've been playing KH to compare them. I'd say Xemnas because of this:

Xemnas, because he was actually established almost right from the get-go as a threat that needed to be stopped. In KH1, the main antagonist was really Maleficent, but in the final act of the game, Ansem just kinda showed up out of nowhere and said "Yep, I'm the bad guy now." Because of that, we don't get to see him be developed, and as a result, I never really felt a motivation to stop him other than "the game said so."

Xemnas for a lot of obvious reasons(main one being he didn't need a guardian to fight like SoD).

You took the words out of my mouth perfectly.

I would say he is better than Ansem, even though I went against him.

I do like Nobodies better than heartless but Xemnas was just a troll imo. I never really like him or old MX that much

Maleficent

/shot

kidding, I can't decide between them...

I say Xemnas cuz like mentioned in a earlier post, he has an agenda. Ansem SoD was a badass but Mansex led a whole organization of evil. Plus he has awesome ethereal blades :D

Mansex cause he holds power over nothing hehe.

Xemnas was somewhat boring; big words, silly hand motions, and unnecessary long speeches. Don't get me wrong, I liked him... just not as much Ansem SoD.

Billy Zane FTW! :D

... there was truly needed the option "both" xD Xemnas is evil, cold and sexy... but Ansem is evil, evil and sexy... so both lol

Xemnas just like what baylaust said, he had more character development, a plan from the start, and needed to be stopped since the beggining of KH2.

Plus, I love the name Mansex for no particular reason :D

True dat.

To be honest None

If there's a third option I would chose Vanitas.

Xemnas has a better tan lol and isnt into snatching up little 15 year old boys

I kno this is random but has anyone noticed that Ansem SoD wears the same clothes as Master Xehanort lol

Like if you just went to check.

Xemnas bc his voice is orgasmic and he is firetrucking ripped. I loved his boss fights better too. Overall = smexy

Xemnas easily. No one can use lightsabers like him

Xemnas because his name is an anagram of "Mansex" and THAT...is truly evil.

I'm actually really torn on this. On one hand, Xemnas is the more active villain (though only just), and like someone said prior, he's set up in the role at the begining of the game, whereas Ansem kind of vanishes for about 80%. On the other hand, I love the theme that Ansem brings to the table. Pretending for a second that Xehanort and Ansem the Wise don't exist, Ansem is really kind of a tragic figure. He starts of as a man who simply wants to learn more about the universe in order to protect his people, but then looks too far and sees too much. Much like Denethor, he sees how large the Darkness is, and gives into despair. Having lost all sense of worth in the world of light, he basically rebuilds his entire point of view on the world, forsaking anything Light and giving in fully to Darkness. But, in the end, in spite of his new found devotion, his last moments on this plane of existence are of the Door opening, and it being revealed that he was wrong after all.
