Posted August 18, 201213 yr I heard there was supposed to be Heartless and Nobodies instead of Dream Eaters. Also that the Grid was supposed to be for Riku and Sora goes into Space Paranoids. Are these things true?
August 18, 201213 yr Well, Nomura thought of it early in the production of the game, but I don't think they were ever in the game, just in Nomura's head. I definitely remember reading about that though, must've been in an interview somewhere or something
August 18, 201213 yr In a trailer Sora was fighting Heartless, and a Twilight Thorn in the Second District. Atleast I THINK it was the second district, the one where you fight Opposite Armor in KH1.
August 18, 201213 yr Originally Heartless and Nobodies were going to be the enemies of the game. But they decided to go with Dream Eaters instead. Sora was originally going to go a world based on Tron while Riku went to a world based on Tron: Legacy. And Sora and Riku were intended to go to different versions of Fantasia.
August 18, 201213 yr I always thought the heartless and nobodies appearing in the 2010 demo was just that - demo stuff.
August 18, 201213 yr And Sora and Riku were intended to go to different versions of Fantasia. They did...
August 18, 201213 yr They did... different areas, yesbut "different versions" => Fantasia (1st) and Fantasia 2000 (2nd)
August 18, 201213 yr In addition, even though Tron: Legacy was chosen for both Sora and Riku, Nomura decided to switch their stories just before the last minute. Riku was supposed to be in the Games arena for the fight against Rinzler originally, from what I remember.
August 18, 201213 yr I wish they had kept the heartless and nobody Idea, they are definately cooler as enemies.
August 18, 201213 yr I heard there was supposed to be Heartless and Nobodies instead of Dream Eaters. Also that the Grid was supposed to be for Riku and Sora goes into Space Paranoids. Are these things true? It does seem likely, as the Heartless and Nobodies have been the main enemy for the past games. Why not reuse the idea?
August 18, 201213 yr in one interview , nomura said that in the beginning , the game have a ''Lea's scenery''. ( only in concept I don't know if their finished and discard ) Edited August 18, 201213 yr by rodx
August 18, 201213 yr I wish they had kept the heartless and nobody Idea, they are definately cooler as enemies. Unfortunately, it would be impossible for them to exist in the dream worlds, so they had to be replaced with dream eaters.
August 18, 201213 yr Lea was also actually supposed to save Sora, keyblade in hand, but Nomura changed it for effect near last minute.
August 18, 201213 yr Lea was also actually supposed to save Sora, keyblade in hand, but Nomura changed it for effect near last minute. I think, that was for the better. There was so much happening in that scene already.
August 18, 201213 yr Unfortunately, it would be impossible for them to exist in the dream worlds, so they had to be replaced with dream eaters. They could have just made it possible. It's not like the game would just spit the heartless out and say "No! You cannot be here!"
August 20, 201213 yr Hahahaha but they cut out more right? in a cutscene from the trailer you run through the bells and jump to the square
August 20, 201213 yr yea a lot of cutscenes were cut out just like YMX is sapose to apear in the 2nd district of TT and you also saposer see a kool cut scene of sora and riku righting ansem and xemnas also dont forget we was sapose to fight Xigbar as sora.
August 20, 201213 yr What was Nomura's original intent for the ending of KH3D? He stated it before in the early january '12 issue with Famitsu that he thought the ending he originally came up with wasn't that good and Disney didn't approve of it. And I thought he was going to explain this in the Ultimania, but it never came up. So, any guesses?

I guess that sora falls in the darkness but riku don't succeed in rescue and in the end sora becomes the 13th vessel. (darth sora)
