Did anyone here enjoy using the gummi ship in KH1?

I liked using it after I was able to upgrade it to the point where it was just ridiculous. However, I didn't really like it in the beginning of the game, I thought it was boring, I guess, due to the slow speed and lack of powerful cannons.

I was like you, I didn't really get into the customization until later in the game. It's pretty rough when compared with the KHII's gummi ship, but not totally unenjoyable.

I thought it was alright, even though I play games more for storyline than anything, for the most part. I was very VERY pleased when I flew to Hollow Bastion and the song was in a minor key, though.

I enjoyed it, trying to find the perfect balance with limited parts. It was awesome.

it was cool

It was terrible. The drop system in KH3D was 100 times better than the Gummi Ship. If they made the Gummi Ship segments in the KH HD remake more like the Drop segments, then I MIGHT consider buying a used PS3 at Game Stop.

What didn't you like about it? (just curious)

So you're not gonna buy the hd collection just because of the gummi ship section ? really ?

I use the original gummiship throughout the entire game. While in KH2, I always used a customized one.

I didn't like it. I almost feel asleep while playing it. Because of those gummie ship levels I dreaded everytime I would run out of potions and need to make ANOTHER trip back to traverse town >_< I never got into the customization at all. Same for KH2.

I did not enjoy it. But I also didn't enjoy it in KH2, either. I honestly would rather just get from world to world instantaneously. But that's just me.

Actually, the fixing the gummi ship segment will not get me to buy the collection. There needs to be a whole lot of new content for me to consider buying. From what I have seen, that is not the case. It probably won't even make it outside of Japan. None of the Final Mix releases ever did.

As for why I like the drop system better than the gummi ship, it has to due with how the world you are diving into influences the segment in a significant way. No need to worry about customization. Plus, doing well in the drop system will net you a nice reward in the main game. The gummi ship segments seemed more like a chore than something to do over again.

ME TOO !!!! I loved how it was in BBS much better .

I thought it was bearable in KH 2, but only a little bit. lol BBS was my favorite, as well. xD

The Gummi Ship in KH1 was just as meh as the Dive Mode...

I never customized a ship before.... so I always stuck to the regular default ship.

I hated, however, that you had to use the Gumi Ship EVERY SINGLE TIME you wanted to transfer between worlds.

Once was bad enough!

However, I remember playing it one time with my friend, and I was like, "I think I found a loop hole in this game. You see, if you stay here at the top corner, you'll never get hit!"

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

"I DIED!!!!!!"

I only lasted like seven seconds... Ha ha ha!

me 2

god I hated gummi ship

Way to slow way to slow I thought they were greatly improved in kingdom hearts 2 and especially at the beginning of the game if you had to go back to traverse town to get potions and there was no warp so you had to take the long route back I also thought there should of been moogles in worlds that might of helped.

I like KH2 gummi ship waaaaaayyyyyy more than the KH1 version. Not sure why, but I guess it felt off balance and weird to control. There were more options in KH2 like dodge rolling and getting a super duper gummi ship if you hit the max level for points....maybe I just feel more comfortable using a KH2 gummi ship xD With the KH1 version you had to fly all the stinking way back if there wasn't a warp for it O.O

I liked it at first. But then it became kind of annoying. Especially the part when you eant to revisit a world and you have to replay the whole route.

KH2 gummi ship was better...

I really liked it.

Of course, I prefer the KH2 Gummi Ship, but it was fun to build a Gummi Ship so powerful, that takes out those giant ships easily in the route between Hollow Bastion and The End of the World xD
