What do you think about the posibility of the KH 1.5 HD ReMIX being only for Japan?

If it's japan only, I'll import it and I will not pay a cent to Square Enix. How? I'll buy it 2nd hand.

Square Enix would be stupid to not release HD ReMIX outside Japan (successful game series remastered in HD for PS3), but you know....SE is really strange and I'm sure they know that a lot of people will import it when there is no release outside Japan

so they make a lot of Yen, $ and € even if they don't release it outside Japan

 

all depends on if SE want to be mean to us or want a lot of $, € etc from us

and if there will be a release...then the new topic will start: how will they localize it in Europe? complete English? English voices with localized subs (like the games after KHII)? localized voices (like KH I and II)?

I want it! I wouldn't want it to be just a japanese release we deserve it as much as they do. So I say fork it over Square Enix or else we storm yer doors with keyblades in hand! :ph34r:

I won't get my hopes up that much til it's annouced, though I don't really care that it's HD (obviously it'll look more stunning) i'm more excited to finally get to play COM (PAL region, got no remake and got into the series when the GBA was dead and they stopped selling the game in store)

I think that eventually they will release it to the US or wherever.

I'm sure making money is one of their top priorities.

I might want to storm their buildings and rant at Nomura if he doesn't release it.

It would be corporate suicide for Square not to localize 1.5.

Besides 2 other KH game remakes have made it stateside, one of which had already had it's original version released here.

And I think KHFM is now old enough to have an international release without Japanese fans whining about it.

They let american fans whine for years since release date. Cause they love to. Do ya think Square Enix care about the fans too much beside nationalism and chauvinism? They convert these feelings into revenue, intended or not.

 

I guess it is all about resources. Let's call Final Mixes Bonus Editions who are just good enough to make fans sought after. They are slightly improved US-Editions.

I don't mind the card system since I understand when it came out on GBA card games on that were common, I just really wanna see the stories and cutscenes myself (i've put off watching them on youtube) If the games region free and doesn't get released outside I'd just import it (trying to import RE:COM was impossible since I don't wanna try and mod my ps2 and break it, and Swap Magic is illegal in my country)

I honestly think it's too soon to tell.
