Play Any Good Games Lately?

I've been a gamer for roughly 20 years and I've got to say I'm disappointed with the 7th generation titles. Yes they have pretty graphics but they seem to skimp on story. So I'm asking you guys if there are any games for the PS3/Vita that you would recommend. Preferably an RPG with an engaging story and nice anime-style graphics. I cant read any of the Japanese writing systems so imports are not an option. I know, I'm picky, but I know what I like.

..........ok ill answer you like this we the united states barely have any anime style rpg's that are not based on anime show's so tech your out of luck in the big run i sugest gravity rush for the vita for ps3 any of the disgea games well do but its all up to you if your looking for non anime style then i can also answer that for a wider choices go to psn for more anime style games also forgot to add any of the NISamerica games

I was playing Portal 2 last night. Still one of the most amusing games I've ever come across, thought it's definitely not anime style. I haven't gotten into a lot of the newer titles, sadly, so I don't really have any other PS3 games to recommend.

Borderlands is an okay RPG shooter, but doesn't really have a fixed story, unless you call killing shit and looking for treasure a story.

And I won't recommend any of the new Silent Hills because they're sucking terribly right now, like Resident Evil.

Yeah, the Tales series has both Graces f already out and Xillia on the way. Eternal Sonata is a good game. As Rob said, BlazBlue is a fighting game, but it definitely has a story.

STAR OCEAN: First Departure for PSP. It is kinda short (Only roughly 50hrs with everything), but I love it. If that is too short play STAR OCEAN: Till the end of time I loved it, but i'm also a STAR OCEAN addict.
