What is/are the Saddest Animes You Have Seen?

Posted

Lately I noticed that I have been watching a lot more anime than usual, however they have all been pretty sad and I can't get enough of them. So I was wondering what re some of the most heart wrenching, tear jerking animes you have seen? So far my list includes:

Angel Beats

Clannad AS

Elfien Lied

Air

Myself;Yourself

There are still many more that I plan to add to that list but that's what I have so far xD

No anime, manga, jRPG, or movie has ever made me cry for some reason :I.

But some the saddest anime overall I've watched is Elfen Lied.

Sakamichi no Apollon had some really emotional parts, but doesn't have a sad ending or anything :P.

Code Geass.....

LEE LOVES U (person who died which Lee will not say)!!!!

Code Gears

and Tokio magnitude 8.0 ... for now... cry not but hey are somewhat sad...

None that I watch or love.

I cried watching Sword Art Online. Romantic and Tragic...

But that is my first anime. (You can shoot me now)

Code Geass.....

LEE LOVES U (person who died which Lee will not say)!!!!

Dangit. You beat me to it.

Full Metal Alchemist (Original) Because

Even though they're still alive in the end, Edward and Alphonse get separated, and Alphonse loses some of his memories. Plus a lot of other stuff in the anime has so much emotional impact imo

Elfen lied was a thoroughly depressing anime. Though honestly Fairy tail was the first anime to genuinely make me cry.

fairy tale peroid ( the part were lucy's papa be's a bitch to her and erza's part)

I have seen lot of sad animes, but I will just tell you the ones that I actually liked:

Code Geass (anyone who have seen ending understands)

Elfen Lied (Very depressing all the way)

Angel Beats

Shakugan no Shana (Isn't really that sad, but has it's moments)

Neon Genesis Evangelion (Very depressing series to watch)

Yeah I haven't watched too much animes that should make me feel sad, but I really can't cry for fictional characters so yeah..

Oh remembered one movie that really kills you inside out

Grave of the Fireflies

I didn't cry at Lelu's death cause he didn't die he will always be alive 1st and because he did that cause of world peace and a better world for Nunnaly. The death that made me go crazy and crying and swearing and and and was when Euphy died...man I was swering on Lelouch for that.

and Guilty Crown, Inori-san!!!!!!

Only on those two tear came out from ym eyes and I was down for that much time....can't remeb of sth else

Death Note was sad but didn't make me cry
