Do your parents control what games you buy?

I would never even want to buy a game with a lot of sex or violence.

  • Not really since most of them are RPGs. Plus, they are the ones buying them most of the time.

  • I'm allowed to buy what I want, I pay for it with my own money I earn, and any money they give me I can spend as I see fit, including alcohol etc. Even when I was younger and my mother would actually

Nope. I have total freedom from them for most things. xD

nope im 21 :D though the 1 time my dad did I had to give up getting Kingdom Hearts 1 for Wheel of Fortune T_T

Being 22 I don't have worry about that kind of thing, lol. But before? Iunno. I don't pay at to the age ratings for a games but the ones I'm interested in happen to be below M, usually. I don't I ever asked my folks for an M game though less because I wasn't allowed but I never bothered asking. I have a couple M games now though.

No.  I don't play games with lots of violence or stuff like that so there's no need for my parents to get involved.

Haha I t have Mortal Kombat 9 so that's saying something. xD

Yep, They control everything I do, They're even deciding what I put into this post right now.

Nope.

no, because other than CoD and Halo, I dont buy violent games.

As long as I keep up my grades and don't misbehave, then they no care

LOL,come on!!!!I played grand theft auto and mortal kombat when I was six!!!!And THEY bought me fable!!!!xD They barely care!!!!!They try to act it but as long as I'm not prego or doing drugs and cutting school I'm good=)

I can play any game T and under. I asked them about Team Fortress 2 and Half Life, both of which they were okay with. I honestly don't care for most M games anyway.

My parents don't care about what games I buy since I don't play any games with anything they don't like anyway.

My parents could care less about the things I buy, to be honest. xD

I don't buy anything with inappropriate content, though. .__.

This. The poll of the day seems like it's only applicable to kids.

Welp, no not really LOL They are out of their element when it comes to that chizz

Not at all, but I don't think they'd be too happy if I went a bought a game with sex in it. o_O Not that I'd even buy something like that, there's far better games out there (pretty much everything). Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, Pokémon, Professor Layton, Journey, Sly Cooper and Animal Crossing ftw. :P

I would have some serious issues if they did, seeing as I'm an adult and all. :P  And when I was still a minor, no, they didn't control the games I purchased, mostly because they trusted me to only buy games that were age-appropriate for me, and I didn't have any trouble sticking to that, since I really only play KH and FF, along with some other games with not tons of adult content.

nope

No. In fact, my dad bought me GTA San Andreas when it came out and he played it alongside me. I can buy M-rated games now by myself anyways.
