Would you ever want to work with video games?

It seems nice, but I don't think it'll happen with me =/

    • Not really sure... I like to play games, but I don't know if it'd be cool to work with them.

    • Nah, I wouldn't. I already plan on doing something else.

Ah, it'd be great fun and I'd love it, but I doubt I'll actually go into that field.

Perhaps one day I will have the honor and privilege to compose wonderful music for a video game. ;)

My dream... Although I'm not sure if I will he able to join or not.

In 6th grade i wanted too... But i grew up a bit, learned that i don't have an artistic skill for mapping and drawing. I definitely don't have a math skill to code... So i decided that i love acting and directing better... :D

That happened to, me no skill in art or drawing, BUT, that didn't stop me, I became a programmer instead, I found out that it was more enjoyable than art, at least for me.

Well, I would like to, but I've got so many other plans that I'd never be able to fit it in.

Would very much want to, but i'm not so talented with computers. :P

Other option. I already do. Just not in development.

I would if I had the art or math skills to do so.

But I don't so I guess I'll either do something really boring and make a lot of money or do something fun and not be able to pay the rent.

Not really, I don't have skills to work on Video Game industry.

I'm planning to have some work as musician so it would be nice to compose something for video games though c:

My dream careers are machanical engineering, software engineering, or anything to do with video games

I'm going to Uni in September having applied for Computer Games Development and Computer Science (for one Uni I can do Computer Science and transfer to Games Development after a year).  I've 3 offers so far so pretty much it is the route I want to take, however I know how difficult the job market is and the computing skills I can gain from the course would be useful in a number of other positions, so there's no guarantee I will actually get a job in Games Development.

Well, either that, filmmaker, or more likely a novelist. I just want to convey a story. Then another one. And the cycle continues.

I'm already planning to do something else, but if I ever had the chance I'd take it. :3

I <3 video games soo much that I want to develop them. It's my dream career actually  :D

Either that or films :3

Yes, I actually just got accepted to college today and I'm going for game design xD

I studied Computer Science myself, and my recommendation is that you stud this first, here you wil learn stuff and skills vital for game development, like for example, programming in C++ and other languages

Yes.

I bet I could make my version of Versus XIII from the ground up and it'd still be out faster than Nomura's.

Yes but that would be so much work that i'm going to be tired.

i want to but don't know where to learn. my school has it as part elective i did not choose :(

i wanna learn and attempt it and get some of the awesome people on this site to try it out. (if that ever happens and you all enjoy it id find out how to port it to ios and android)

and if i dont get my dream job (electrician) i would probably give this a go as a way to earn money
