The Mario Games.

I mean come on, WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT IT??? All it really is, is just a guy that can jump high, has to save a princess every single firetrucking game, and continually eats Mushrooms. AND ITS NINTENDO'S BEST SELLING FRANCHISE?????????? WTF?

 

Legend of Zelda is 100 times better than Mario. The only Mario games i liked were the Paper Mario ones, since they were more  like RPGs.

Mario is just fun. It has a light atmosphere and all of that.

For me it depends on which Zelda. I haven't really enjoyed any Zelda games since A Link to The Past. Just remembered I did like Wind Waker.

 

 

 

I hate shooters. Halo, Call of Duty etc. I just don't like them at all.

Mario is great because of the solid gameplay (platformers and 3D platformers) It does an excellent job at that, that's why it's held so high in the gaming world. But there are a lot of mario games that are really bad. And some that are just rehashes but decent (New Super Mario Bros seires)

 

But as for my most hated games....any movie based games

there is no particular game that I hate, but I would say Arc the Lad

some games based on movie, like tiger and dragon.

Mario is not my favourite one either but I get why people like it and I don't really have a reason to hate it. I can't think of a whole video game series that I absolutely hate.

CoD...meaningless  game that come out every year same season w/ the sole difference in the title of the game, it's gameplay remains same....idiotic

Some FPS. I dunno why but I don't like them a lot.

Most if not all FPS games. For reasons previously stated. Also, it has an intolerable typical fandom persona.

I don't think there's really a series that I totally hate, but I'm not a fan of most 2D platformers. I just can't get into them, but I love 3D platformers.

FPS games. I hate them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call of Duty. I don't like the fanbase. Not that I can talk, as I am a huge fan of Halo, the main contender with CoD.

 

Most racing games. I mean, half of them don't really give you much fun like, say, Split/Second. That game is a super fun racing game. Unlike, say, the Forza game I tried to play.

 

Anyways.

 

Mario games are meh for me. Really, I only liked Super Mario Sunshine because it wasn't your old Mario. It was just crazy and just fun.

Least favorite? The New Super Mario Bros. Series. It just seems like they keep releasing the same game over and over and i'm getting sick of it. Call of Duty is another series I don't like because it also seems to release the same game year after year. 

I don't have specific franchises I hate, but I'm not a fan of certain genres, such as first-person shooters or racing games.  And Mario is popular because it's a simple and fun platformer.  If you're going into that series for a compelling plot then you're looking at the wrong game.

FINAL. FIRETRUCKING. FANTASY.

 

Good God I hate Final Fantasy so much. FF6 and Type 0 where awesome, but one of those is a classic, and the other is made by the KH team.

 

I love JRPG's, and when ever I mention that type of game, all I hear is "Final Fantasy! Oh, I love JRPG's, I play Final Fantasy!" "Hey, you gonna get the new Final Fantasy?" 

 

Mother of God...

 

People miss out on all the amazing JRPGS because of this terrible series. : /     I've played FF1-9. Hated nearly every one of them.

 

Again, this is just my opinion, if you like them, fine.

It's just not appealing to me.

As generic as it sounds I dislike the Call of Duty series. Because lets face it, at this point Fifa is starting to be more innovative than CoD every year and that is saying a lot!

 

As for your original post, you went on to say you hate Mario and then said Zelda is far better. To be fair you cannot compare the two. Mario is a solid platformer and the old games were a lot of fun...

I hated Dirge of Cerberus Final Fantasy VII so much that I got rid of it as soon as I could. Couldn't even rent it for 3 days.
