Why does it have to be exclusive????

 

I already own a Ps3 so I don't have a problem but some KH fans still don't have a PS3 yet

 

Since the series got released on multiple SonyNintendo consoles (Ps2,GBA,PSP,Nintendo DS,Nintendo 3DS)

 

wouldn't it be a good idea to release KH 1.5 on Ps3,Xbox360 and Wii U????

 

releasing a collection of the old games on multiple consoles might garuntee a much better sales and introcude the series to more and more gamers out there since not all fans of the series have every console the games got released on 

 

 

And before anyone jumps and says because of royalty to a console and it should remain exclusive,the term "exclusive" has been already invalidated for 3rd party games in this console gen since so many games we thought it would've been exclusives(FFXIII,MGS 5,Devil May Cry 4.....etc) were alreadywill be released on multiple consoles.

 

I think it would be good at least for once for the KH series to be multiplatform at least with collections.

Would be great to see it Multi-platform honestly but Nomura did say he wanted to bring all of the games to one system. He probably literally meant one lol I agree with  you though, releasing it on the Xbox or Wii U as well would get sales higher. And it would definitely help the Wii U sales.

I could see them releasing it on Wii U eventually or at least the second collection. But I highly doubt that it will ever be on Xbox. it never has been. Why start now? It is well established on Nintendo and Sony systems. 

There's really no point in discussing this since it's really not gonna change anything.  Nomura wanted to bring the games all to one system, this happened to be the most popular home console in Japan, where the Xbox (and far as I'm aware Wii U) sales are, tbh, pathetic in comparison.  

The time and money it would have cost to convert the games to the other consoles wouldn't have been worth it, the reason we're only getting Days cutscenes is because converting between the two systems would have been too timely, the same would be applied to converted two PS games to be playable on the Wii U and Xbox only it'd take much longer.

Also, the Xbox 720 would be a better candidate than the 360 since it uses Blu-ray discs meaning they don't have to spread them over multiple discs like they did with FFXIII.  

 

Ultimately the time, effort, employees and money required to do so would be considerably more than the potential profit they could gain, and would mean the they won't be able to bring out a KH game a year like he wanted.  

 

Yes, to some players it's unfair, but honestly if anybody got a Xbox (especially the Xbox as they're never released on that console, the Wii U has a better chance in the future)/Wii U and weren't prepared for the fact that a future KH game might be PS exclusive, like ALL their numbered titles, then they were seriously deluded.  That doesn't mean they should have got a PS3 instead, just that they can't really complain given Squenix's track record it was blatantly obvious the future KH games would be on a Playstation System, laying all your hopes on multi-platform and then being surprised when it doesn't turn out how you planned is your own fault.

The Kingdom Hearts series is biggest in Japan.

 

The Playstation and Nintendo consoles are biggest in Japan.

 

The XBOX 360 sucks donkey balls in terms of sales in Japan.

 

Conclusion: The Kingdom Hearts franchise will never be seen on a Microsoft console. Deal with it.

I never said I want KH on Xbox specificly since my Xbox 360 is gathering dust compared to my always active WiiPs3

 

I just want the KH series to be enjoyed by more and more gamers and this collection is the best chance to gather new fans around with the first game in the series.

 

At least I want the collection on Ps3 and Wii U since the series were released on both Sony and Nintendo consoles

 

I personally don't like the Xbox anymore and I began to hate it because of the huge lackluster of 1st party exclusives

I believe the reason why is because of the differences in the systems, since two of the games were already on the ps2 its much easier to convert them over the ps3 because sony has a system pre-setup for that. I recall in the interview they said only a few people were working on the hd remix so if it were made for all systems it would take way longer.

 

also I don't think the xbox will ever see a kh game, the game just wouldn't sell very well on that system.

They could've released the game on Wii U too without any much effort except of putting a map feature in the Gamepad and that's it.

 

If they've spread the entire series on multiple SonyNintendo consoles it'll make more sense for them to release them on both Wii U and Ps3 since both sides of audience has experienced KH on their respective Handheldconsole.
