Since Sora chose to get his old memories back, what do you think would have been different had he decided to keep his fake memories?Besides the obvious not having his old memories.

He would marry Namine and have babies.

That what would happen. Cause Namine and Sora are firetrucking soul mates. I ship it harder then SoRiku.

We'd have a very different 358/2 days on my side...

Namine would have been abused and exploited by the Organization...I... I don't wanna think about that too much.

Sora would learn to d-d-d-duel with yu-gi-oh cards, since he's good with cards

There would have been severe consequences after. 

Going back to Destiny Islands will be troublesome.

Sora couldn't really get back to DI himself, nor could Namine at that point. Since Diz was still hanging around and needed Sora and Namine for his plans I figure he would take them in.

I think even if he had kept his memories of the castle, he would still remember everything eventually, there's a cutscene in 2 Final Mix where Sora remembers Namine'. So in a sense, he remembers everything now because a memory is never really forgotten.

Actually, they wouldn't have remembered him either.  Don't you even remember the beginning of KH2?  Kairi can't even remember Sora for the most part (She only remembered him because of what was happening with Roxas.), and the HB gang makes it clear that they "Suddenly remembered them."   So, the only people that would remember anything about him would be anyone who's memories weren't erased from Sora (That's why he still remembered Riku and such)

She'd still exist. She's a replica of Roxas afterall. If he exists, she exists.

Plus she was made before Sora even entered Castle Oblivion

i was about to think of a counter reply to what you said and then i remembered that xion began to look like kairi before sora went to sleep. hmph. i need to think before i post
