I actually hope for Re:Coded to be playable in 2.5

Posted

It would work out a lot better that way for a few reasons

1. People already feel like the story isn't important (which it is important) so making it cutscene only like Days would make it seem more useless to those people

2. It has some of the most unique gameplay in the series. I'd put it up with Com in terms of it's unique gameplay style since each world has a different gameplay gimmick for you to take advantage of.

3. With Days they wanted to remake it but didn't have enough time so they just remade the scenes. It would be easier than that to simply port it from the DS as is to the PS3

I love the gameplay in coded. I really would enjoy playing it in 2.5

Yes I liked coded and I don't see why people have such a big fit about it, and if they do it that way then I guess they could have DDD cutseance in 2.5 as well but and have three playable games on the disk that would be cool

It actually wouldn't be all that hard to remake. Most of the elements in Re:Coded have existing models in other games, so models, worlds, and BGM could be slapped in from KH 1.5, and cutscenes could be remastered in HD. This game might as well be playable in the collection.

I've never played it, after hearing it wasn't a very useful game (other than a few bits that related to 3D) I decided to wait til it's down in price, but since it's gonna be on the ReMix I might just leave it til then.  Even so by that time it'll probably be like a fiver and I'll grab it.

I assumed they would have included it with DDD cutscenes, since that was most recent and doesnt require a HD remake

I liked the Ending very very much. It wasn't as good as Xions death, but definitely worth it to be in a KH Game.To play it on PS3 would be great but I think they'll stick to the Cutscenes...

I liked the gameplay of Re:Coded, but the story wasn't that interesting so it would be better if it was playable

Any way for 2.5 to finish the remaster quicker, I will accept.

I also hope that Re:coded's playable in 2.5; DDD can be the game that's cutscenes-only, especially since Re:coded doesn't have enough story to be an interesting cutscene-only game.

I played Re:Coded myself on my DS. Unlike other people who just heard the game wasn't good, i actually played it, and went through some of it for myself. It was the worst 20 dollars ive ever wasted. I got bored of it in literally a couple minutes. It felt like a fan made game. A VERY CRAPPILY MADE GAME. And i loved KH1, so i thought i would like this. But no, i hated it from the start. I gave it another chance, and played through some of the worlds, but it was really hard to navigate through some of them(IM LOOKING AT YOU OLYMPUS COLISEUM).

I didn't like the level up system, and it barely had a story. All it was, was just cleaning up a journal. The only attempts at making Re:Coded have a story, were the beginning, the part where Data Sora was assumed to be destroyed, but came back, and the ending where Sora finds out why he needs to take the Mark of Mastery.

If Re:Coded is playable, it'll be the one KH game i won't Platinum. I don't care what anyone says, i won't do it. I'd rather have it as a Movie, so that way i could enjoy the actual story that they'd have to make up.

It is not that simple. You can't use a DS game in a PS3, because Sony's games are ''.Iso'' files and Nintendo uses their own extensions and files. Make it playable is the same that make it all again. I would really like it, but I think they won't...

No thanks. Re: coded is my least favorite KH game by far. But I can respect that there are people who enjoyed it for whatever reason. I can agree saying the gameplay was unique, although it was a bit annoying for me at times. Ultimately, I prefer 2.5 be KH2 FM, BBS FM, and Re: coded cut-scenes. I can't say I entirely hated re:coded though, since it is KH  ;)

Re:coded would require a remake, what a waste of time. I'd take cutscenes over a remake of Re:coded any day.

I liked re:chain but coded should be fun when I play it :D

Not really. It's a good game as is.

What's with it being a good game got to do with the remaking process? Nothing.

I never said it did. o.O

You said it wouldn't be a waste of time remaking it again.

Yes. I never said that it being a good game would have anything to do with the remaking process though.

I really want the Avatar Systems available on 2.5,that way we will play online each other...

I would like it playale to coded was a good game, however i felt the turn based system in olympus colliseum was lacking that certain magic normally found in turn based battle systems, i stopped playing for a while simply because of that worlds extensive dungeon side quest with repetitive gameplay. :(

But if they replaced it with a real time or platformer format i would see no problem in playing a remake ^_^

If it comes between BBS and Coded as to which one will be playable...

Then no.

Just no.

No...

Otherwise, if they can both be playable, i'm all for it. Why not?

Well, RE:CODED was just to tell us that sora had to free the people.

And i find it preety useless. But i loved the gameplay.

So i would mind
