Do you ever play games a lot longer than you normally would just to get more Achievements or Trophies?

    • Often, I'll put in some extra hours for them

Yup, and plan to do so with Tales of Xillia and Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX.

it really depends for me, like if there arent that many achievements like FF13-2 then i would. If there are a whole bunch of achievements then i wouldnt try i would just do the fun things.

Nope. I did that once but that's it.

Achievements mean NOTHING to me.

I do that but I also play the game after I get them all sometimes if the game was really good and had great Replay value like Kingdom Hearts dose and will

considering that even without the achievements i still try to do every random thing in it, it's not really a lot longer than normal...

Sometimes, I like to stop and look at a pixelated blade of grass for 78 hours and then continue

Only in order to get the secret movie in KH3D, as well as maby one or two other times.

does it move at all?  you've reminded me of my "do they blink" questioning in ToS...

BAD GRASS

I love getting achievements, their SO MUCH FUN!

I usually play the first games my mom got for my 360. I still play Viva Pinata because the achievements are simple. Including Bakugan Battle Brawlers, you can get like 500 G in like a Day!

Nah, don't see point getting Trophies and feeling good about them

Occasionally for me.

Nope.

Oh how I despised Star Wars The Force Unleshed II. And yet how long I played it and put up with it to get that coveted platinum.

Worth it.

A lot of times, I get Achievements for doing things normally, but occasionally i do go out of my way to do a certain thing; only to net an achievement.

I've only done that once, and that was with Ni No Kuni. i loved that game so much, that i didn't want to stop till i got a platinum trophy. It was successful and i cried just a tad when i had nothing else to do.

I don't care about trophies. But I'll try and collect everything within a game. I don't think that's the same thing though.

They actually dont mean anything to me. Sure its fun and all but meh

If that question was asked to me 4 or 5 years ago then I would say yes but honestly not now. I'll try to get as many trophies as I can for KH 1.5 but I don't play my PS3 as much any more for other games to even warrant getting trophies, especially when a lot of them are tedious.

I'll play a game I like for however long I need to to get trophies in them as long as they aren't ridiculously time consuming.  Finding all the treasure, is acceptable for example.  Raising every spirits affinity level to 9 is ridiculous and a waste for a trophy, that's way too much time to lay down for some pixels.

Yes I do,I like collecting as much trophies as I can.

Only if I want to make a statement.
