June 28, 201312 yr I'm not a big fan of VIII's or II's battle mechanics, but my least favorite FF (not meaning to beat a dead horse here, I really do just not like it) is probably XIII.

But unlike XIII the After year was excellent,its just that it felt like I was playing a downgraded version of the original Final Fantasy IV,the storyline is way too similar for no reason at all and the ending was terrible and it was linear,but again I really enjoy it,its just that I'd rather play the original FFIV

But when I was talking about the ending,I was referring to the overall plot at the end of the game,all the weird stuff that we learn about the final boss and all,it was really disappointing to me.
July 7, 201312 yr I wasn't a fan of II, V, VII, XI or XIII. I, III and X were pretty meh. IV and VIII were good-ish. and VI, IX, XII and XIV:ARR are really great. There isn't really a "worst" Final Fantasy it really just depends on your own personal preference. Like a lot of people think VII is the best while many people (including myself) think it's an overrated game to the point where people should stop revering it as some sort of god like game. The OP said that XII "looked" the worst and to many people they would whole-heartily disagree with you. The online games get a lot of grief because well... they are online. I didn't like XI and XIV was abysmal when it launched but XIV: A Realm Reborn is absolutely great and I consider it better than anything SE has spit out since XII.
