This might be a dumb question but is kingdom hearts χ coming to other places besides Japan?

But I suppose it'll be translated for us by a fan anyways.

I've heard people say that it's not going to be released outside of japan, but now that it has some relevance to the main story What are your opinions?

I'm betting it'll be on Facebook in English at some point.

I say there is a 1 in 100,000 chance that it will get an official English translation.

I still doubt it since it's rare that SE browser games come out of the JP region.  Especially since it's free to play.  Unless NA and EU SE decides it would be worth it to translate in the hope that many fans would start buying the power ups, items, potions etc in the shop it won't be worth it to do so.  Personally I would rather if it's going to become really important to the series that they remake it like a WoW or Guild Wars style game where the graphics are better with more customization etc.  I'd love to play a MMORPG like that.  Otherwise it'll probably become a FB game

It's accessible by any region, if an "American" version is released it will really just be an English version, not just for America.

Seeing as it is a part of the main story, it should be translated... I hope!

since now it will have some canon aspects, yes will be a english version.

Not only for america  but for everyone.

 

I just hope is something as canon as re:coded where you can easily ignore it. Chi was good as a side game, nothing more.

That's a great idea! Bring it to 3DS and make it so you can still use the online features! But sadly... I don't that would happen.

Its an online game related to KH It doesn't relate to the actual storyline but I think it focuses on the Keyblade War. Again, not a part of the series.

So, eventually it will have aspects of its story that ARE cannon in other KH games. So, it isn't like they are going to keep it as an official KH knock-off game!

I don't think so, but it is confirmed to be at TGS so maybe they'll announce a localization there. But I'd say they'll only do it if it connects to the main story in a big way.

So? Why should it stay in Japan just because you don't like the game play? Even if it gets translated doesn't mean you're required to play it. All that does is rob people who want to play it and understand what's going on of the opportunity.
