a war will start in the fandom and I'm sure no one wants that to happen.

Also kingdom hearts Is focused around friendship, yea there is romantic things in the game but I don't think anything romantic will go on between the main characters.

And I personally don't want them to kiss, I can't see sora and kairi more than friends.

i see them have more of a strong brother sister relationship more than a romantic one.

I think that it won't happen because they hardly developed any romantic feelings torwards eachother at all, the most they did in KH2 was hug. KH is more about friendship than romance like you said, I think that they may develop a relationship past KH3 but do people really think they've had enough time to develop romantic feelings when it really doesn't seem that way, not at the moment anyway.

Well in my opinion,indeed they were always together,but their relationships would be wasted if they didn't show their romantic feelings to each other,so yeah,I think they should Kiss or have a romantic time before the War will begin though...

The title is "Why Sora and Kairi will not kiss" yet you really didnt have any info to back this accusation up, just your opinions. Its more "I hope Sora and Kairi dont kiss"

Even the manual directly stated "Sora has a crush on Kairi".

Sora to Riku is childhood bromance.

Sora to Kairi is romance.

 

SoKai, in a way, is cannon but really shadowed over by friendship and the fact not many people read the manuals.

 

Kairi and Sora might not have developed their relationship, but its obvious that they really like each other and think each other all the time. Even Riku admitted to Xion that Kairi is special for Sora. They might get closer now that Kairi joins to fight Xehanort and do her part as an keyblade wielder.

Sure, KH is about friendship, not romance, but we have seen many Disney characters kiss and stuff, so why not Sora and Kairi do it someday too?

They dig each other hardcore. It's only right they officially seal the deal with a kiss at some point.

I want to point out it that the shooting star was the paopu fruit and they are handing it to each other in their carving. But yeah your point still remains, since sharing one is supposed to bind their destines together forever. (I am sure I am just repeating what you meant)Though one problem I would have with them kissing right away is that I just don't feel like their has been a lot of build up making us crave to see the kiss, want to see the kiss, desire to see the kiss. So, seeing them kiss would be like umm okay, I knew they were probably going to be canonically shipped, but I didn't need that at this point. That being said I am not opposed to them kissing, I just don't think it is the right timing yet.

I've dealt with this on KHInsider and have gotten so much flak on this, regardless I still stand with the idea that they will. And it seems that some of the people here have already presented the tidbits of reasons why i think they should kiss in KH3.

Harsh but the truth goes a long way. 

Sora and Kairi are friends at the moment, deal with it. As for KH3, I don't want them to be kissing in the middle of the game. Maybe at the ending, when Xehanort has been defeated and everything is well.

And nomura said sora and kairi relationship will develop and another thing nomura said is that the game won't be meant for kids 13 and down.
