Honestly, What is up with you haters? I just watched the techfeed xbone vs ps4 vs wii u video and when they got to wii u they started laughing. I admit, some of the better wii u titles should have been available at launch and nintendo could have spent a little more time making the wii u. But the fact is, many of the system sellers are coming very soon and you nintendo haters wont have much to say except "Nitendo sux fuk u litle fegits".  Maybe it isn't as powerful as the ps4 or xbox one, but the gap isn't as big as it was with the wii and can handle multiplats.

 I bet most of the hate is about the Wii U game pad's design. Which doesn't even matter at all. (when I say doesn't matter I mean that it doesn't matter with the design). It's just something for the console and then there's bitching about it when the Kinect was somewhat worse. It was a good idea, the Kinect, but it just seemed like it failed (I do not have a Kinect) and the Wii U game pad does it look strange? Yes it does, but it works (do not have a Wii U)

I like the Wii U- it's innovative, and most of the hate is because it's not "as powerful". In all honesty though, it's powerful enough for most developers to work with, and most people who say otherwise simply say it to boost their console's name. I like all consoles- why argue about the system, just play games on what you want, you know?

I don't think they actually hate it. It's something they're not interested in so they want to make it look bad and insult it.Since they like the PS/Xbox more they want to brag about it and make anything different from their "beloved toys" look like shit.My cousin has this kind of attitude. He'd always brag about how his PS3 has better graphics than my Wii and pretty much try to downsize things I had in, what obviously seemed to be, a rather desperate way.Because of that I have the feeling that this kind of nature spawns from insecurities.Basically, they're a  firetrucking disappointment of an existence so they very likely want to feel better about themselves by trying to convince themselves and you that, in some way, they are better than you.In the case of insulting a console you like, i assume they feel that making it look bad will make their game consoles look better, thus making them feel better with the whole "oooh hurrdy durr durr my stuff is betr dan yours becaus im not a pussy lololol"So yeah if someone insults or tries to downsize something you like without a proper reason, laugh at them. Seriously, just laugh at them and ignore what they have to say.

The Gamepad works very well, actually. I used it once at a demo, it was kinda awkward since they had to have it attached to a wire to charge it and make sure it wouldn't be damaged, but from what I got out of it, it works incredibly well.

I'm getting SSB4 on Wii U AND 3DS. I'm incredibly excited for that one!

I HAVE A DREAM... where all the console fanboys can get along and just enjoy video games. Seriously, it's not like the Wii U is a bad system. It's made for fun, and if it accomplishes that, then great.

The reason why people laugh and make fun of the Wii U is because they think compared to the new ps4/xbox 1 and current ps3/360 it is a low hardware peice of s**t and its basically a Wii with minor upgrades.

I have always mained Fox, but i'm going to give Megaman a try for sure.

Yeah, the cord being absent would have made it much better for demo purposes in terms of trying it out, but I can see why they had it.

Definitely. I remember I had an issue with the gyroscope because of the cord, which was kinda annoying. I'm sure it'll be a lot easier when I get my own system and don't have to worry about the cord.

*walks in* I basically had the idea for the Wii U's gamepad in the 90s... So, it was nice to see that some developer finally put that into practice. Just to see a child's dreams come to light. Though honestly I am not too interested in that dream anymore.

That and people put it down because they see it as an upgrade to the PS3/360 generation, and feel it is vastly less powerful than the PS4/Xbox One. And it is true the percentage gap in between the power of the Wii and its generation was greater than the gap in between the Wii U and its generation, but, I am pretty sure that, the numerical gap is greater than the gap in between the Wii and the PS3/360.

Well I can run most of the games that i want to like tf2 on my computer but the only one i bought that i couldn't run on my pc was deus ex: human revolution since it was 3 dollars on the steam summer sale. But an upgraded version of that is being released on the wii u anyways

I have to use my brother's computer for games like TF2, which gets kinda annoying. I want to get my own device that can run Source games, and Steambox might be the cheapest option. My only issue would be using a controller for a first person game, since I hate doing that. Analog sticks aren't nearly as precise as a mouse. ._.

Everyone's already said what I wanted to say, now I won't get any likes! T.T Uhm...Nintendo is awesome, the Wii U is awesome! The games it has now are great and the library is only going to get bigger. Mario games, Smash Bros. 4, a new Zelda and classic hidden gems every Nintendo console has! Some people just need to open their eyes. I love Sony and Micro too but Nintendo will always be the best to me and I don't need to insult fans of other consoles to get that across.

I love both Nintendo and Sony . Xaon and I own the Wii U and will get the PS4. We own all the handhelds from both companies.  I don't see why there has to be drama about this shit . People need to calm their tits lolz.
