August 16, 201312 yr Author Is Mickey a master? yes he is a master he became one in the end of birth by sleep Yes he was taking his MoM during BBS . @ topic Riku ..He's badass and smexy . same Riku my favorite character and the only master who haves full control of the darkness and is able to use it for good deeds
August 16, 201312 yr Riku for being the only master we saw actually earn the title. Mickey is a close second but we haven't seen the kind of development Riku had to go through before he got the title. I like Aqua but the circumstances of her mastership were lackluster, plus it didn't do her much good in the end of the day.
August 16, 201312 yr Sora. "But Sora's not a keyblade Master!" Given that his level of success outmatches nearly everyone on the list of official "masters," yes, he is.
August 16, 201312 yr Master Yen Sid is old Master E tried to kill Ven Master X... Is weird Master Aqua... We ain't gonna see her again .-. Master Riku... He's only been a Mastah for a yr! Master Mickey... That's GRAND MASTER MICKEY MOUSE!

August 16, 201312 yr hahah yea mickey would be my 2nd favorite hes just awesome You forgot "The Master," Eraqus and Xehanort's master. He was technically one also. On Topic: Riku for same reason as DracoZombie Edited August 16, 201312 yr by Jaune Arc
August 16, 201312 yr Master MICKEY. He's so badass. aqua. shes the only master in the series that doesnt make massive firetruck ups Well, she made one of the biggest mess ups. SHE LET XEHANORT LOOSE ON THE WORLDS IN THE FINAL EPISODE OF BBS. She failed to bring Ventus back and save Terra from the darkness. She messed up pretty bad.
August 16, 201312 yr Master Riku, that still sounds weird since playing KH and CoM again but It'd probably be him because he really earned it after changing so drastically since the first game.

She messed up pretty bad. lol she didnt fix her friends messes so she screwed up? besides she sacrificed herself to save her friend's body from going into the RoD.
August 16, 201312 yr aqua. shes the only master in the series that doesnt make massive firetruck ups Aqua's Mission Dossier: -Keep an eye on Terra Status: Failed. -Bring back Ven Status: Failed -Find Master Xehanort Status: Failed The accumulated result of Aqua's failure: Xehanort is still running around, Terra has ceased to exist, Ven is in a coma, Master Eraquas is dead, and while her sacrifice might have been very dramatic, the result of her vanishing out of the world left it without a keyblade master, letting the Heartless run amok for a decade, as well as several other problems, which Sora then had to solve for her.
August 17, 201312 yr we saw Aqua and Terra take their exam and that doesnt count as seeing Aqua earn her title? lol she didnt fix her friends messes so she screwed up? besides she sacrificed herself to save her friend's body from going into the RoD. Aqua's mark of mastery exam: hit balls of light, then spar with Terra. Riku's mark of master exam: The entirety of DDD, not to mention all the development leading up to it. Not to mention Aqua doesn't have a good track record of succeeding at what she set out to do.
August 17, 201312 yr You forgot "The Master," Eraqus and Xehanort's master. He was technically one also. On Topic: Riku for same reason as DracoZombie I always thought Yen Sid was their Master before he retired. He seemed to be very familiar with how rebellious a student Xehanort was. As for the topic at hand, I'd have to say Mickey because he is bassically the KH version of Yoda. They even have the same battle style, lots of jumping, mid-air flips and fast combos.
August 17, 201312 yr Master Riku of course, cant wait to see what he does with his new status in KHIII im kinda surprised that Yen Sid got no votes but then again i understand, He doesn't do much

Not to mention Aqua doesn't have a good track record of succeeding at what she set out to do. well im not sure if thats fair to say that aqua didnt earn it. she was chosen by Eraqus to receive a keyblade and then went out to him later, at least as i imagine it cuz thats how Xehanort said he became a master. She probably trained for a long time with him too like Riku would have if that branch of masters werent burned out. Its not like every Mark of Mastery is actually the same anyway its the master's choice to allow his students to move on or to keep teaching them just like how Yen Sid told Sora that he could have become a Master but Riku really deserved it.

That much is true, but we see nothing of Aqua leading up to her mastership. Like, she's labeled a master five minutes into the game. Her development into the role is implied by simple logic she had to have worked hard to earn the title; Riku's is actually shown, which makes him more engaging as a character, and makes his earning the title more meaningful. We got to see for ourselves Riku's inner and external struggles before he the title. We got a development spanning games. For Aqua, we got a 2-minute straightforward test and boop, she's a master. It's not that exciting compared to Riku.
