Why does it take Aqua so long to get to Castle of Dreams?

Posted

Go to 24:40.

It says in the timeline for the Trinity Report that Terra and Ventus each did 2 worlds before Aqua got TO HER FIRST WORLD AND MET UP WITH TERRA IN CASTLE OF DREAMS. HOW IS SHE THAT SLOW??? That doesn't make sense. I mean, if they had just finished up their first world and were starting a new one when Aqua started her first one, maybe it would make a little sense, BUT 2? What the heck?

Didn't she leave later than them?

Well she left like 2 minutes after Ventus did. That doesnt account for the fact that they did 2 worlds in the span of that time.

she was wondering around, nothing will make better sense than this.

This makes as much sense as when Eraqus assumed Xehanort had vanished or gotten himself kidnapped only a few seconds after he left the Land of Departure.

I absolutely love how Roger did that scene in his parody (skip to 2:40):

Well, my only guess is that travel between worlds takes a longer time then we think. Like it may only take a few seconds but in those seconds, hours fly by

because she saw a rock

"OH MY GOD A GIANT ROCK! IT'S A ROCK - AND IT'S GIANT!"

"OH MY GOD A GIANT ROCK! IT'S A ROCK - AND IT'S GIANT!"

and then she saw an even bigger rock

I think time runs differently in different worlds, so maybe like an hour in Castle of Dreams is like a second in LoD

Doesn't time flow differently between worlds? That would also explain why Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora look the same in BBS than they did in KH, which was about ten years later.

But that wouldn't only occur for Aqua, but for Ven and Terra as well. And then we're back to the start, why did it take her so long?

And Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

Maybe there was a time inormality, that happened for an uncalculatable reason, Aqua left land of departure and unfortunately got caught in it without realising, time passed slower on the inside than it did on the outside, so it took aqua an increased amount of time to get as far as the others and by the time she had gotten out they were already making rounds. You cant prove its right, you cant prove its wrong, aqua doesnt have a watch so she wouldnt know. so it could be it.

just puttin it out there xD

I've always wondered about this.  Like FL said she did leave later then Terra and Ven, but it wasn't that much later.  That part of the timeline makes no sense unless she somehow got lost.

What about their vehicles. Maybe ven and terra are driving the equivalent of Ferraris and aquas is just slower. I mean, ven has a skate board, terra a motercycle. Both look incredibly fast. Aquas...not so much

Or the time between world's. Maybe it doesn't take all that long to get to the world for terra and ven but once they got there, time just moved different. So while their hone and off and half way through a world, everyone only Jay found out they left.
