It just maks the camera angles significantly more frustrating, manual is easier to maneouvre for most people.

^^ same here, already clocked 40 hours in and I haven't an issue with it.

Auto camera is the same camera from the PS2 days.

Same here, no issues with the camera.

Mine was on manual but a world in I changed it to auto, I found it more difficult to turn without it shooting up making me look at the sky with the manual camera.

Speaking from only PS2 expirence, I never had an issue on KH, KH II, or KH CoM with auto camera. 

Ive never had a problem with it.

If it's the same as the PS2 camera, I'll honestly probably use auto camera... I liked KH1's camera.
