I've just defeated Unknown. And honestly it's a lot less than I expected from him. I could have easily done it without Tinker Bell or Aeroga. I didn't even use any items either. No strategy on my end either, just kept attacking him It took me less than a minute to defeat him. 

I guess we're just used to hard bosses now, because of the secret bosses from BBS and 3D. I'm excited to see what challenges await us in KH3

I was playing on Final Mix mode. There is no "standard" mode.

Our reflexes have probably gotten better with time either way, I do think the games have been getting harder since KH2 was criticised for being too easy

I thought he was super easy when I fought him too. Do not know why some people say he is harder than Sepiroth. Unknown really has only 1 attack that is really dangerous.

Just wait until you fight Terra in KH2FM on critical mode.

I played on proud, I had to face him at level 70 because he kicked my ass on the levels before (probably due to me not having leaf bracer) I didn't use Tinker bell either, she annoyed me, I ended up using sonic a lot and she just stopped me from doing so. By BBS are lingering spirit or MF the hardest. And Terranort.

 

Terra/lingering will in KH2 seems also very challenging.

Sephiroth and Phantom were easy. You can beat Phantom at level 50 something.

What level were you? What were your equips?

The real challenge is on Proud Mode.

In all honesty, I found BBS to be the easiest in the series. The secret bosses were the only tough parts about it, along with the first world in Aqua' story because of her low attack stat there. Everything else is a breeze.

Phantom is by FAR easier. I only got hit maybe twice the entire fight...It's literally one of the easiest bosses in the entire game.

 

It's only hard if you don't know the correct strategy. If you do the right strategy, it's a CAKE walk...All you have to do is keep the clock stopped the entire match and line-of-sight his blast, which leaves only his physical claw swipe to hit you which hardly hurts your HP at all and it's extremely easy to dodge.

Mayby cause you are on low lvl. Get to 80+.

I was on 80+ and used only a few ethers.

 

If he uses that one spell just get behind the clock and use then stopra sometimes on the clock.

Let also the rest do the most work if that will work.

That's because you weren't playing on Proud.

tbf, the main problem with Xemnas Unknown is that stupid command lock; he grabs you at an inopportune time, and you may well die before the roulette slows down enough for you to hit "release"

You can beat Phantom in the 50's if you're lucky. I defeated him in the 60's.
