Will KH3 increase Xbox One sales?

Posted

Not too long ago I found out Kingdom Hearts III might be on the Xbox One. As most hardcore KH fans, such as myself know that all KH games were either on the PS2,gameboy Advance SP,DS,PSP,and the 3DS. Also counting the PS3. But what is your honest opinion? Do you think the Xbox One will get greater sales because of KH III?

I think so. I mean it's a legendary title and with the amount of push Nomura is giving it, it most certainly help with XboxOne sales and PS4 sales.

"Might be" isn't really something you can say about it. It WILL be for the Xbox One, and although I've seen hundreds of topics with this exact title, I couldn't care less what it is on, as long as it is for a system I own.

*bias comment alert*

I don't think it will increase console sales. It will however increase sales of the game which is more money in Squares pocket to put into future titles.

I guess... But that's a longtime from naow. HA. I wish KH3 was just coming out for the PS4 honestly. I feel like its... Ruining the "flow"(?). But in the end I don't mind...

No one's going to purchase the Xbox One for Kingdom Hearts III. Lol. Square Enix are only doing this because it's a cheap and easy port to make money.

You catch on fast, i'm impressed : D

its not news to me but i guess being up to date isnt always easy or nececary.

Everyone should have a little or a lot of the Kingdom Heart in their life so why not cause that means more money for the hard-working folks we know and love at Square Enix

Not by much, most people have issues with Xbone, but it will raise sales a bit.

Who cares if it's on the xbox one, so long as it doesn't ruin the ps4 version, i don't care

Fool. I don't think it will raise sells. The decision between an Xbox one and PS4 probably won't be based on this game.

I'm happy actually. Since my Dad is a Xbox lover, we're not getting a PS4. .-.

As long as its still on ps4 I don't really care

I don't really think the sales will sky rocket in comparison.  Until Microsoft recalled all their "features" of the Xbone, the majority of players, including Xbox 360 fanboys were transferring over to Sony's console in the next gen.  Even so they have opened their potential client market, which inevitably will lead to more sales than it would have with exclusivity.  While I don't personally care for Microsoft and their gaming products, I understand the pain and annoyance when a series you love is exclusive to a brand you either don't want, or can't buy at that moment.  I know a number of guys who liked Kingdom Hearts in the PS2 stage but they went with the Xbox 360 in the 7th Gen and became loyal to it.  Now they can get back into it if they choose to remain loyal to that company.

It won't increase console sales in my opinion. Especially since it hasn't been on Xbox before. I think the only reason they made it on PS4 and Xbox One was because they know it's going to be a big game and want to have as many people experience it as they can. and make more money

It's like.. Square enix got drunk.. and go the wrong way

No. Especially not in Japan.

not really, no reason why it would considering it's not an xbone exclusive,

No

No Kingdom Hearts fan could give a shit about Microsoft or their Consoles
