Yeah they better keep Marvel out of Kingdom Hearts.

 

I see no point in putting Marvel in KH3.

No Marvel, no Star Wars. Nothing outside of Disney and Final Fantasy ought to be in the series.

Admittedly, I can't see Marvel in KH, much (even if I would very much enjoy it) but I think Star Wars would be an absolutely perfect opportunity to explore Light and Darkness in KH. Particularly since that will be most pertinent in this coming installment. KH touched on this a bit, KHII focused mostly on the in-between, KHIII can really explore that particular topic in depth with the help of SW, I think.

I will say the same that I say to people who beg for the remixes/KH3 to go on the Wii U

 

Internet demands really mean nothing in the actual development of any game.  

 

But I too don't want Marvel (or Star Wars) in KH, even though they bought it it doesn't make the past movies (that everyone wants) Disney movies, they don't give the feeling of a Disney film and I personally don't like real-life movies in KH (PoTC and Tron just don't feel right graphics wise, the animated Disney films fit so much nicer).  But since Nomura is a fan of star wars I do expect him to include it in some KH game, I just hope not KH3.  It would honestly ruin it or me.

They aren't Disney.  The rights are owned by Disney, they were never created by Disney, thus they aren't Disney.  The same way old Pixar movies were distributed by Disney, but created by Pixar, not Disney.

I like playing in the worlds, I like the place and characters, I just think visually going from real life actors to animated ones ends with them looking odd unless you cartoonify them, or match sora to the place (like they did in Tron with him getting that neon armor thing) but in PoTC Sora and Co's brightness (along with Pete who pops up there) is so bright and cartoon like that they stand out hideous and just don't feel right.

Saying that they're Disney now is a semantics argument; yes, they're owned by Disney, but did not originate from the company. WB has the rights to Batman and the Harry Potter, that doesn't mean those flavors need to ever mix.

 

I can see where you're coming from, but I couldn't disagree more. Light and Darkness have been explored constantly throughout the series, with the exception of 368/2 Days and Coded. I don't believe that Kingdom Hearts needs Star Wars to explore the themes of light and dark, whether they're similar or not.

 

Imagine if in the new Star Wars movie they encountered a Keywielding, magic-using teenager with two anthropomorphic sidekicks, and they justified it by saying "Well, we really wanted to explore the themes of masters and apprentices, and Kingdom Hearts has those, and we really feel their presence helps us explore that topic." People would go mad! I would hate it if Kingdom Hearts just turned into another crossover-fest for Disney, instead of being a series that featured their iconic movies as characters and worlds.

Gah, you're right, I always forget about that. I think that one makes more sense, as both Kingdom Hearts and TWEWY have similar styles and the same creator. I should probably expand my statement to mean Square games and Disney-made movies.
