Yeah,actually , in Kingdom Hearts 2 he is way easier than Kingdom Hearts 1 .

I only use Curaga when I'm down to 1 HP or if I couldn't interrupt the "Heartless Angel" attack in time

KH2 Sephiroth was easy. I beat him when I like 9.

Now KH Sephiroth is hard. I still haven't beat him.

i haven't seen how powerful sep is on 1.5, but that might have to do with the fact i'm stuck on atlantica

Sephiroth is a hard boss in the original KH, and they made him even harder in Final Mix. I almost always die whenever I fight him. 

 

In Kingdom Hearts II, you can just lure him into his slash combo throughout pretty much the entire battle. He's also really predictable.

Have you fought him with restrictions? Level 1, Kingdom Key, no accessories, no items, etc. It'd be pretty hard to do no magic and no damage as well.

Also, different people have different skill levels. Just because you think everything is a cakewalk doesn't mean that the rest of the planet finds it that easy as well.

And does it make a difference? From 6-8 minutes to only 1?

 

As I said before, Sephiroth has insane defenses, and a very unpredicatble battle patern, especially in 1.5.

 

And at Lv100, the damage you make with the Ultima Weapon is the same as if you were using Kingdom Key. That is, if you keep using Strenght Up.

 

And bosses don't lose health that fast, even at 100, we're talking about Sephiroth here, not Rock Titan or Hades.
