I've been thinking and it seems kind of impossible for them to completely beat Xehanort. I mean yeah you can defeat some parts of him but then they just put themselves back together and/or split up into more heartless and nobodies. The only way I can picture them defeating Xehanort is not by destroying him (cause its virtually impossible to destroy anyone completely in kingdom hearts) but by making him give up on his plans or...and god do I dread this... make him see the error of his ways and go good (shudders). Dear god I hope that doesn't happen cause he is an awesome troll of a bad guy and put a lot of effort into making his schemes work. 

 

Other avenues for victory could be:

1. Sealing Xehanort's heart away completely for the next generation to deal with later on

2. Make the Xehanort's turn on each other by stroking their egos (Its been done to death but it could happen) 

3. Have Vanitas come back and take over Xehanort for revenge (don't know for what but be creative) 

4. Kingdom hearts pulls a Deus Ex Machina on his collective ass (Ff7 lifestream anyone?) 

5. Lea kills him with superior smexiness 

 

Any other ideas? Think you know how its going to be done? Am I missing something? 

 

But seriously though, how do you fight against this?

 

I have two theories that I put in all threads regarding how to ice Xehanort.

 

1. Maleficent. Honestly, she's cagey enough to lay low long enough to wait for her shot, and then backstab the guy when he least expects it. If there's one weakness to Xehanort, it's that his ego makes him believe he's infallible. If Maleficent can wait it out long enough and keep a low profile, she could probably take him out. 

 

2. They drop a piano on his head.

On a serious note , Xehanort has always managed to fail on every plan he has . He forgets important details or that people don't always do or act like he thinks they will .That's why he always needs so many back up plans . Plus, it's like Xigbar/Braig said  -it's like Kingdom Hearts itself rejects Xehanort. On a side note - i'm sure it's possible to kill someone .They only become a heartless and nobody if they 'die' by losing their heart .

They're going to keep on attacking him 'til he runs out of HP. Like they basically did with Ansem and Xemnas.

Sora and Riku will deliver a final slash and beam of light energy and they will defeat him only for us to find out he's alive and barely breathing then as begs Braig for help, Braig then shoots him point blank and picks up his Keyblade and ditches his own(because Xehanort gave all his Norts either a medium for the Keyblade like Soul Eater or a artificially made Keyblade) then tries to go for Kingdom Hearts only to be stopped by Lea,who has just grieved after fighting and wiping Isa from existence even though he tried to remove the Nort from his heart, and as Lea materializes in front of him He slashes Braig across his other eye,causing him to go blind,causing him to stumble and fall off one of those moutains that Xehanort always summons in a fight and as Braig fall Lea says softly "That was for Isa" then all the Norts fuse together to make one big boss that Sora has to fight on Kingdom Hearts using his powers, the power that the other Lights gave to him, and the power of the legendary Guardian of Kingdom Hearts

On a side note - i'm sure it's possible to kill someone .They only become a heartless and nobody if they 'die' by losing their heart .

Repliku died and he had a heart . They thought Goofy died when he got hit by the boulder ..which shows they thought it was possible to die . Eraqus would've died if he hadn't transferred his heart. ( a skill of only masters btw ) His body literally died and everyone thought he died which also shows they knew it was possible to die. What about all the disney characters deaths in KH?.  Death exists in KH.

 

 

Oh i must also add that Xehanort worried that he would die of old age before he ever got the chance to see another keyblade war so he decided he needed a younger body to take over . So even he knows it's possible to die

The only way to defeat Xehanort is to kill him . As you say "extracting" his heart out won't accomplish anything other than starting new adventures . But "killing" him sounds a little bit stupid and funny to me at the same time . I am sure that Nomura will find something for that .

1. he fuses with KH but he under estimates its power and explodes leaving him on the verge of death and sora shoots him let he did xemnas

I think the keyblade wielders join together to defeat Xehanort.

 Sora will use the new attraction flow feature to take him on a journey through the horrifying "it's a small world" ride. Xehanort will die from fear of small puppet children.

Instead of killing him maybe they can use his own brand of manipulation against him. According to the current plot Master Xehanort's path was only preordained because of Young Xehanort's involvement in the present timeline. Although those memories were erased an etching of Master Xehanort's goals and ambitions were imprinted onto to the heart of his younger counterpart. This essentially forcing him to follow that path already set out for him. Though Sora and company cannot change the events that have occcured so far perhaps they can impress remorse upon the heart of the present Xehanort via Young Xehanort using this very same method. If Sora can establish even the smallest of connection perhaps even Xehanorts heart could be saved from the darkness.

At the end of DDD everyone raises their keyblade to Kingdom Hearts and beams to Xehanort .

Nomura also said there's no concept of death in KH, and that the heart only goes to sleep and can always be awakened again. I may have got the wording wrong, but I clearly remember him saying "death doesn't exist, only slumber". What they mean by "death" is the heart going to sleep, so it's not exactly like the real life death.

Thats only bc the heart can be reborn . He also said even when both ones nobody and heartless are slain it doesn't mean one will revive and could be gone forever if not in the right order. .So yes death does exist . That also doesn't even count the disney world characters deaths. Besides that, even Xehanort knew he would die of old age - that's why he needed a younger body in the first place..

I don't think they should kill him at all. I think since it's his fault Aqua is in the Realm of Darkness in the first place, they should trap HIM there for eternity and see how HE likes taking in his own medicine. He needs to suffer, not escape from suffering.

But, don't those who master the darkness have the power to escape from there? Maleficent escaped from the Realm of Darkness, and Xemnas, Xehanort's Nobody, had the power to freely go there and back through the Corridors of Darkness. In order to trap him in the Realm of Darkness, you would need to somehow remove his power over darkness, and I don't have any idea how one would do that.
