What if KH3 is going to be like BBS?

Featured Replies

I wouldn't like that, to be honest. I tolerated it in BBS, but I disliked replaying the game three times just with a slightly changed story and battles. Just give me back Sora, Donald and Goofy (or any other main characters like Riku to act as party members) and let me experience single-player with THE main character.

As awesome as kairi and axel would be as a team, I don't want this. I'd much rather just play as sora

I would personally prefer to be one character, and at different points in the game play as others.  I don't want 3 disjointed stories again where I only get a third of the world's adventure and have to remember it for later

I mean, we now have Riku, Sora and Kairi as main characters and we already played with two of them. So I was thinking... What if we got to choose one at the start of the game just like Birth By Sleep? If we pick Sora, we have as companions Donald and Goofy. If we pick Riku, Mickey is the companion. And Kairi... idk, maybe Axel?If we think about it, it would make some sense due the based characters (just see the names). (my first topic D:)

If it meant getting to play as a majority of the awesome protagonists, I'm all for itBut let them all share EXP- I don't wanna level up 9 characters to Level 99/100 >.<

Well , I wouldn't like it. But anyways it won't happen because we are talking about seven guardians of light and not just Sora and Riku .

i think nomura already confirmed that wont be like that and I approve.

Because with  KH3 plot that doesnt make much sense. But we will still play with th other keybladers of course.

I want to level Sora and have Donald and Goofy as companions but maybe they make you fight as another Keyblade Wielder for a bit like playing as Riku,Kairi, or Aqua during the final fight but have moves and level preset

Actually, here's who I want to play as;

  • Sora
  • Riku
  • Kairi
  • Lea
  • Terra
  • Aqua
  • Ventus
  • Mickey Mouse

I'm cool with playing 3 characters, but make like some sort of system where we get to a point in the world where we can't use the character to progress the game further until the other character catches up or some sort.

I support having the option of playing as all three of them, but I dont want it to be executed like it was in BBS

As much as like going through the story of a game with different perspectives,I  assume that all three of these characters will try to be together throughout KH3,at least thats what I want,so having the idea of going through very similar stories would seem more of a chore then an experience that I would like to go through

Don't really want that. I just want to enjoy a fluent story with Sora and his companions. Sure there could be playable parts as different characters. But other than that, this is Sora's story, and that is how it should be.

Nice first topic

I agree and disagree with everything you said, I came up with a similar topic once but now I understand why everybody did not like the idea. all the number titles (KH1,KH2 and KH3) should have Sora as the main playable character.

However

Riku is the second most important protagonist in the series and Kairi is the third most important protagonist.I think that they should have moments when you play as Riku or Kairi in KH3. For example while going to save TAV you play as Riku, until you find one of them, then the story goes back to Sora. I also want Kairi to be playable, at least during the prologue or sometime throughout the game.
