Do You All Really Believe That Mirage Arena Will Have Online?

Posted

I mean it would be cool if it did had o line because then we'd get to fight other players from around the world (and maybe have some KH13 tournments where everone would get recked by my skillz). But I'm a bit skeptical about it having online because it's still a port of the PSP version which didn't have any online play on it. Only local play. But if SE ever confirms online for it that would be awesome because then I'd pwn you all .

I seriously doubt it will have online. Like, I think no one should even expect it to happen. It will be one heck of a awesome surprise if it does happen, but I really don't think it will. :(

Yeah, I think it will. :/ They said they're changing stuff up, and they added new stuff to KH1FM and Re:CoM in 1.5.

it would be great :) I'm not gonna get my hopes up till some kind of announcement but I've got my fingers crossed :)

i have my doubts about it but we can only be optimistic about it until they say yay or nay :c

Actually they said they haven't made any changes so far.

They can do one of three things:

1. Make it online

2. Make it single-player

3. Remove it

Leaving it how it is, isn't an option.

I don't think the 3rd option will ever happen. Nomura never removed anything when he made remakes and final mixes, same goes to 1.5 HD.

I don't really think we will see any Online Mode ....

it being online would be an amazing idea to play co operatively with friends, but online p v p would be a horrible idea...

I hope so.It would make the game much better and popular.

I don't know why people think that because a PSP game is local only, it means it won't get online multiplayer in a future release. In case you didn't realize the PSP didn't actually HAVE online play, you had to fudge it yourself with servers and ad-hoc crap that nobody understood. Nobody I know with a PSP has ever played it online. Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker was local only as well and that got proper online play in the PS3 and 360 versions.

I am more looking forward to an online mode for KH3.

I think you can play with a friend on one ps3 and two controllers.

I don't believe, I hope.  No one nears me plays KH so it's my only way to play with others, and you could connect to KH fans around the world, it would be a great stepping stone if KH3 were to also include from form of online battle in arenas or oc (whatever it has)

it will be because thats how you get the ultima weapon and fight those secret bosses so he won't remove it plus they have friendship commands to deal with so if they don't make it online after doing all to thats lazy on their part or they could make it dlc. who and you all will be crushed by my guild when online happens nothing personal :)

They can make it singleplayer.

friendship commands and the mirage arena was made for more than one person

I though multiplayer was only to help you.

Then yeh I guess online will be in it.

Yeah but that doesn't mean that we can automatically expect some online just because of a few commands like the friendship one.

Well, since Birth By Sleep had both the Mirage Arena and Command Board for Multiplayer, odds are that Nomura and his teams will make extra tweaks here and there to allow for online play via the Playstation Network.  I mean seriously, it would be a great implementation, for all of us could make teams to defeat the different swarms of Unversed.  Just don't let me catch you in Versus mode.  I'm a pretty versatile beast against other players, so I shall destroy anyone who challenges me! *cough* I shall challenge Tails by that time. *cough.*  Who knows?  Anything is possible when it comes to KH! :D

well i would agree with you if it was just commands like fireworks and vanish, but move like trinity limit, voltage stack, union rush, and group recovers that made for more than one person or it won't work i doubt it oh and D-links to. and this is off topic but the could add all the mini-games from disney town and a new one from deep space, i thought of a keyblade glider battle and the name would be.......Glider Fighter, and i will take you all on with Edge of Ultima too lol

Didn't Nomura say that the new Mirage Arena bosses added in FM were made with multiplayer in mind? Since the original "multiplayer" that BBS had was kind of bad, maybe Nomura will use 2.5 as a way to improve it and make it the way he wanted it to be. Also would SE have to pay for online servers if Mirage Arena was online?

I wouldn't be surprised if they added online. It shouldn't be too much work.

I can see why it could potentially work and not work. But I do certainly hope it'll be implemented. I would enjoy it so much.
