January 18, 201411 yr Author Maleficent isn't. Characters died? we all assumed organization XIII died, along with ansem and xemnas. Wasn't it exciting knowing that what you had worked to stop in KH&KHII just came back to life because why the firetruck not. You wouldn't be able to look someone in the eyes and tell them you didn't have to look up the plot on the internet because it was too convoluted. Edited January 18, 201411 yr by Death the Kid

I found it exciting. I can easily look someone in the eyes and say I can understand the story without any assistance.
January 18, 201411 yr Popular Post They're just gonna mess with it more- the only character that's managed to stay dead (Master Eraqus) is gonna be brought back as well through some illogical plot device Nomura logic = Normally illogic Edited January 18, 201411 yr by LightChaser
January 18, 201411 yr The whole fact that KH is so convoluted is what makes its perfect. It's not your everyday storybook. If KH wasn't like it is now, it'd be more than boring in an instant. The story's not broken, it doesn't need fixing. It's not that we can't easily explain it (which we can), it's that it cant be easily understood unless it's experienced (which we have done). You wouldn't be able to look someone in the eyes and tell them you didn't have to look up the plot on the internet because it was too convoluted. well in Nomura interviews, he explains multiple times that when a Heartless is killed and then its Nobody the original person comes back. it hasnt really been explained in the games besides in RE:Coded and in DDD but Nomura had this idea since like 2006 or something cuz it was in "Another Report" that came with Kingdom Hearts II Final MIX. So i think from then he wanted characters who werent exactly people to come back as, well people.
January 18, 201411 yr Just cause you didnt like DDD' story doesnt mean its broken and needs fixing, wether I like the story or not is irrelevant but I can say that it all made sense to me. As far as the idea of people like the organazition members who died and come back to life as whole people I actually like, its kind of a second chance kind of thing, undo the wrongs they've had and start anew,so I dont have any complaints in regards to that.As far as the story of KH being confusing,I rarely ever get that feeling, but I usually just figure it out along the way when I play. All in all the story is fine, wether you like it or not is all up to you.

You wouldn't be able to look someone in the eyes and tell them you didn't have to look up the plot on the internet because it was too convoluted. None of the characters ever "died": they faded from existence. Only humans can die in the KH universe , every other being just ceases to exist. The character which return after "dying" aren't the same being and, the ones which do (Xemnas, Saix, etc) are time travellers so they haven't died yet in their continuum.
January 18, 201411 yr While I'm not entirely sure what I think of DDD's plot as a whole, I thought it was bullsh*t that Axel got a keyblade out of sheer force of will, it was bullsh*t when Xigbar revealed to Sora that they had been tracking him through the X mark on his clothes, and it was bullsh*t that Master Xehanort (Old Man Xehanort) wanted Sora as the final candidate in the True Organization XIII when he 1. could have just as easily traveled through time one more time to pick up one more Xehanort clone, 2. in The Hunchback of Notredame we see a cutscene where Ansem one again tries to pursuade Riku to come back to him, but in the end Old Man Xehanort chooses Sora who, unlike Riku, has never had any relation to the darkness. One more thing, Axel keeping his Organization cloak as a Somebody when everyone else had gone back to their BBS outfit, was bullsh*t too. When I look at Axel with that cloak I see a Nobody. I know that BBS was 10 years ago so he most likely grew out of those clothes, but only removing the green marks under his eyes and expecting us to think "oh, he's not a Nobody anymore" is just lazy character design on Nomura's part, so I reeeeaaalllyyy hope that he too gets a new outfit in KHIII. January 18, 201411 yr While I have long since stopped caring about the overly convoluted "rules" regarding the universe, there are still a great many things that the story needs to fix. In my own analysis, things that have faltered in BBS and DDD include theme, controlling ideas, character motivations, plot progression, dramatic build, pacing, dialogue, emotional quests, and most importantly, giving the heart of the story (the time spent in the Disney worlds) some substance.
The story in ddd made me want to punch a dog
