Dave 5,715 Posted January 19, 2014 When I was walking through the subway the other day, one of the janitor's had left his/her broom propped up against the wall, but in the bustle of traffic, it fell down. Then, I watched as a person picked up and placed it back up, just as a sign of courtesy to someone they'd never met. Then, when it fell down again, a second person did the exact same thing. It wasn't anything big or spectacular, but it was a neat sign of the average human beings capacity for politeness and conscientious behaviour towards their fellow man.
