After some incidents, the Forum Team and the Administrators reached a new rule:

 

GIFs are only allowed in the Random and Forum Games sections.

 

Just so you'd guys know (:

 

EDIT: The one above was taken down, so the new rule is this:

 

GIFs can still be used everywhere, as long as you don't spam the same GIFs repeatedly.

This is highly disappointing...I rarely used gifs, but when I did it was necessary. Now if there's a well needed moment I won't be able to post one....

Why do we all have to stop using them because a couple of people abuse them? It's so stupid. People should quit trying to get rid of the things we enjoy about this forum. So you can't use a GIF when someone talks about their personal life, or when someone's talking about the release date of Kingdom Hearts 3 (AGAIN), so what?

Sometimes a gif sums up how you feel perfectly. What if someone wants to express their excitment for kh3 with an exciting gif? or what if someone wants to put a gif in their original post about their life with a sad gif? or any shit like that. Also, under the new rule you can't post gifs you mad in creative media. hurr hurrr. Makes sense. If you want to makes a stupid firetrucking pointless rule about gifs. Why not just make it so people can't just post a gif alone. They have to add text to go along with the post.
