Hi guys, I got a 3DS long time ago but I am searching for really awesome exciting RPG games but I can't find really good ones.My 3DS games I own:- Kingdom Hearts 3D- Resident Evil Revelations

- Super Mario 3D Land 

- Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D

- Pokemon X

- Theatrhythm Final Fantasy 

- Tales of the AbyssPlanning to have:- Fire Emblem Awakening 

- Bravery Default 

- Professor Layton Miracle Mask

- Professor Layton Azran Legacy (not released yet)

 

Games I didn't like on 3DS:

- Etrian Odyssey

- Shin Megami Tensei IV

Any 3DS games to suggest? (it would be cooler if RPG)

I can definitely support Fire Emblem but the rest was already recommended like Zelda and stuff But one question: what is wrong with etrian odyssey? 

Kid Icarus Uprising, would be a good choice. It has quite good gameplay, a great story and characters, and can bring quite some laughs, in every chapter.

I recommend Kid Icarus Uprising for the 3DS. For regular DS games, I recommend The World Ends With You, any Final Fantasy games available on the DS (Ex. FFIII and FFIV), and the Megaman Starforce series.

The only RPG game I played on the 3ds was KH3D.  Animal crossing is always fun, although it's not rpg at all.

Blazblue Continuum shift II, I suggest any of the Blazblue series.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, can never go wrong with Mario games. 

Those are my top for the moment.

Oh and Project X Zone, but hey I will suggest any fighter, for I love em.

To be fair, I didn't like Etrain Odyssey either. It felt too weird to me, what with the whole first person perspective and party creation stuff.

I have KH:3D, Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril, and Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes.

I wholeheartedly support getting Fire Emblem Awakening like you said.

 

I have't played much else on the 3DS (pokemon Y and KHDDD) but you should also get the 3DS remake: Devil Survivor Overclocked and the DS sequel: Devil Survivor 2

 

They both have similar creatures and stuff from Shin Megami Tensei IV(by the same creator) but I'm sure they are different experiences. Although I haven't played SMT IV so I'm just going by what I've seen.

 

If you like the gameplay in Fire emblem then you should love the Devil Survivor games since its very similar but with 4 teams of 3 and you can customize the characters skills. Both Devil Survivor games also have great stories,multiple endings, and are pretty hard so they will last a good while.

Having only recently gotten my 3DS, all I can recommend is Fire Emblem and Bravely Default (games which are already on your radar). You won't be disappointed in either if you like Final Fantasy Tactics and old school FF games.

 

The only other games I have is Pokemon Y, Shinobi, and KH3D.

and Animal Crossing: New Leaf isn't an exciting RPG obviously, but still really cool.

 

Super Smash Bros. 4 is coming out for the 3DS sometime this year too

I can understand that but i just wanted to ask...well i actually like it because of the high difficulty and the strategic elements ^__^
