computer games and anger management

Posted

Have you ever got so annoyed by some computer game that you start to yell at a computer or something else like that?

If you are stuck in a game and fail to fight some bad guy or get through some places do you prefer to think and try it out by yourself or you just find some walkthrough for help to get pass the difficult place quicker?

  1. 1. what have you done while being angry to your computer because you repeatedly fail in a game?

    • yelled at a computer
    • thrown a mouse
    • went out of the room
    • hit the table or keyboard
    • stopped playing that stupid game forever
    • thrown your computer out of the closed window

During a playthrough of Blair Witch: The Rustin Parr Case, I broke a mouse and keyboard by throwing my laptop across the room after dying repeatedly.

Fool. Never gotten mad over a computer game.

If I'm frustrated I occasionally hit my desk. Only really bad games like Sonic 06 have caused me to do this. If I know it's my fault that I messed up in a game I won't get mad, it's only if it's the fault of the game itself.

Why there isn't an option for:"I have never been angry to computer"

It wasn't on the computer, but yesterday I got pretty ticked off after repeatedly losing to the Goers in the Final Fantasy X HD Remaster

Well since i have a capture card and my consoles always connected to my PC i think that counts too Last week, when I started farming on ultima in KH Final Mix again and it took nearly 3 days to get one Serenity Power  >:( My yelling was hearable around the whole street

I never hit, smash or throw anything if I happen to get angry (and even then I'm not really angry more just frustrated and disappointed in it) cause that'll just be destroying or damaging my own property.  I tend to just play, if it's tedious or I can't complete it I put it down and try again, or go to sleep and try again.

I usually just hit my desk but I have destroyed a few controllers while being mad.

Sometimes I get mad (although it's usually on stupid games like Super Hexagon or CoD instead of legit stuff like Skyrim) but I tend to just yell a few things and then I shut up. I really only get mad if I'm playing multiplayer, because people on multiplayer generally suck. Occasionally I'll reference walkthroughs, but I tend not to need them.

I usually hit my table .

I usually hurl the mouse/controller at the wall.

And well like.... I've did all of those atleast 3 times in the pass week.

Sometimes I squeeze the controller or just mash some random keys on the keyboard. Though I used to get irritable. Edit: unless if I really hate a game I don't rage quit it for ever. At worse I go: Okay, I am done for the day.

I usually don't show my frustration, I just try to keep it inside usually. Worst I've ever gotten was a sarcastic "Thanks for helping." when some friends left me in a giant mob of zombies in Left 4 Dead 2, unless I'm forgetting anything else. I occasionally yell a little, but that's rare.
