April 11, 201412 yr Author Yes. Maybe for you it is complex. But it's not for me.Well I needed some time to understand the full story of the full KH saga
April 11, 201412 yr You sure for that? It's complex in the way that it introduces dumb plot elements which aren't needed and sometimes opens up more questions than it solves. I do love this series but god the story is pretty dumb now overall. It needs to cut out some of the crap. Dream Drop Distance was the worst for introducing complex stuff such as Time travel. Yeah I understand it but it doesn't take away from the fact that some of the plot elements are really dumb and the plot needs to loosen up a bit now cause its getting ridiculous.
April 11, 201412 yr But Kingdom Hearts isn't complex. It's simple. Complex doesn't mean bad dude we're not bashing the divine company that is Square Heck, the plot of the MGS series is just as complicated if not more....heck I'd need a scientist just to figure out what the Patriots are supposed to even be And if it's not complicated as you claim, give us a short summary of the plot of the entire series, every step in Xehanort's plan, everything about Organization XIII,why do a person need two hearts to wield two keyblades, how can nobodies generate their own hearts......etc

I don't think the Kingdom Hearts series is perfect and I don't think the FINAL FANTASY series is perfect either. I honestly don't think any video game, video game series, video game franchise or video game company is perfect. And I'd explain why here, but that would be unprofessional. Which Patriots are you referring to? Ones in Metal Gear Solid I assume? There are simple explanations for those and I'd explain them but it's past midnight and I hate explaining things. Lol.

I'm not referring to a football team you watch,I'm referring to the main evil organization in the Metal Gear Solid series, their origins goes waaaaaaaaaaay further than you can expect. Try playing the MGS series when you have time + See?If it was that simple you would've summarized it now

Our partner recommends it, so maybe I will.
April 11, 201412 yr I think it's pretty straight forward for most, especially if you replay them all in order, you find yourself catching stuff you missed first time round. I think the major firetruck nugget was when time travel was introduced as a plot device since their way of explaining it in game wasn't very clear, considering the game would have a number of younger users.

I dislike time travel outside of Doctor Who.

Xehanort's goal is to obtain Kingdom Hearts and use it to create a new world, one that's more to his liking. To accomplish, this he needed the x-Blade, but only managed to create an imperfect replica so he set his Heartless and Nobody to find other ways to obtain Kingdom Hearts, as a contingency plan, his Nobody also created Organization XIII to create 13 clones of himself to substitute for the 13 true hearts of darkness required as part of the recipie for the x-Blade. In the event that not all subjects were suitable for the task, he also gathered 13 versions of himself from throughout time for that same purpose. It is implied that a Keyblade is the physical manifestation of the strength of a person's heart, which is why of you want to use more than one, you either need to borrow another wielders, or have more then one heart. A "heart" in Kingdom Hearts is made up of the experiences one has and their connections to others, as such, if a Nobody has enough of these experiences and connections, they can grow their own identity and with it, their own "heart" Was that short/clear enough? You explained Xehanort's plot, and that's about it. But that's only 1/3 of the job the other posters have stated. Case in point: at no point was Sora--the protagonist--ever mentioned in that summary. We can understand it just fine, but an outsider would take one look at it and go "Wait, what? Who's Xehanort? What's Kingdom Hearts and how can it shape the world? So they're after a sword? What's a Heartless and a Nobody? How can he clone himself? Wait, there's time travel now? What's so special about a keyblade? So the people who can wield two keyblades are automatically better than the ones who only have one?"

You ask what Xehanort's plan was, What the purpose of Organization XIII was, Why a person needs two hearts to wield two Keyblades and how Nobodies can grow hearts. You never asked anything about Sora, or even mentioned him. That's on you. Edited April 11, 201412 yr by Isamu_Kuno

Pretty much this I can understand most of the plot, but it's really hard to explain to a newcomer without that newcomer asking billions of questions Heck even long fans of the series(like us here) ask questions with every new entry
April 12, 201412 yr The Powerpuff Girls were my childhood! Seeing that meme made me feel totally giddy haha
