Ofcourse the sooner the better, unless you know, they rush out an incomplete game.

 

Sora96 and others predict 2016 at the earliest, others say 2017, some even say 2015. 

 

For the longest time I was on team 2015 just because it would be the 13th anniversary for the series. Which would be a great number.

 

However, if they still wanna stick to a yearly release I can picture a Re:DDD coming to PS4 or PS3 (obviously a dev team, most likely Osaka would have to sacrifice and further delay KH3's release) and hopefully still have KH3 in 2016 (though that might be out of the question) This however is one of the more unlikely situations.

 

Or best bet at making a rather good estimate? E3 and TGS. If we get new glimpses of the game or statements, maybe how far along dev is coming (though I'm assuming it may be at the end of the early stages at the most?) Who knows, they might surprise us, but 2.5 took time man.

 

So in the end here are the scenarios (feel free to add more) that we're looking at (from unlikely to likely)

 

1. A 2015 release to coincide with the series 13th anniversary

 

2. A DDD remake in 2015, pushing the game to at least 2016

 

3. Square Enix says the hell with a KH game a year and releases the game to 2016 at the earliest

 

4.  When it's done #GOOFNUKEMFOREVER

I dont see a Re: DDD happen in 2015, because then we should know about it.

i doubt they will add anything else, it seems like that the conclusion will be the only thing left.

and i dont see a ddd remake for just reasons. REASONS.

Number 3. If you've been patient waiting for KH3, I'm sure you can be patient waiting a bit longer since we're not expecting anytime soon.

I'm hopeful that the release will be in 2015 due to Nomura's promise of a yearly kh game.

id be alright going a year without a KH game if it means a earlier release date with kh3. but i honestly think they're gonna do a online/mobile-phone game in 2015 to hit the kh a year quota  

We wouldn't need a Re:DDD, the 3ds is still relevant and the entirety of DDD is likely going to be explained briefly in KHIII.

I don't want Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out prematurely and turn out to be an underwhelming game, because believe me, that is the greatest concern we KH fans have about KH3 being released too early.  Considering that Nomura said it's been in development since 2010, I'm guessing the game has to be halfway done, gameplay and story wise, and I imagine that when everything is done, the voice recording sessions will begin in earnest.  I don't want to be the type of person to rush greatness, so if I have to wait until 2016 to play Kingdom Hearts 3, then I'll wait until 2016.  Besides, I have a huge pile of games I've purchased, and I'll be distracted with all the games I'll buy in the near future, so I'm sure playing my other games will help me wait for Kingdom Hearts 3.  If we want the Xehanort Arc to conclude in a scale of grandeur, we need to be patient people!

I'm hoping they take their time with the game and release it when they're ready. I don't care really when the game comes out as long as they do it right, and hopefully has a worldwide release!

I don't think they'll rush KH3

Scenario No.3 seems like the most likely because that's probably the most likely date for the game to be ready for release. It just means we have to be really, REALLY patient. And don't give me that crap of: "Oh, but we've waited long enough, hurry up Nomura" otherwise we'll get another Aliens: Colonial Marines or Duke Nukem Forever! Do you want that!?

i dont care if it comes out in 2015 or 2016. although the first option would be great, i dont want an underwhelming game. Situation #3 might be it. 

Scenario 2 seems likely to me. They will focus next year on a DDD HD remaster for PS3 then 2016 will be all about KH3

i guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens
