Link with Ball & Chain Gameplay Trailer

 

Probably the best play style for Link yet. It's extremely bad ass. It would have been nice to see two weapon choices in this game like the Dynasty Warriors and other Warriors titles. That way we could switch between two in battle and rack up amazing combos.

 

For anyone who's curious, I'm 100% postive Hyrule Warriors will use a Rock soundtrack just as the other Warrior titles do (if you've yet to note that based on the trailers for HW that is). 

I'm glad to see the ball & chain again,it was one of my favorite item in Twilight princess(but like most items in that game,it was really underused) I still prefer the regular sword & shield combination,but it still looks pretty cool.They put an other nice Oot reference with that pillar and the fact that you can dig might be a reference to Minish Cap's mole mitts or Skyward sword mogma mitts.

Exciting! I only expected Darunia, but 3 at once is more necessary as they've justba couple weeks to go before the Japanese release. Also, the people concerned about there only being 9 playable characters can shut. This reveal just put us at 10 so far.

I'm expecting OoT Link and Zelda skins. There's also the small bit of extra three DLC costumes that you get besides the 3 for Link and Zelda.

Yeah, I'm glad to see that more characters are added to the roster. Now since they are adding in some OoT characters than perhaps they could maybe add some characters from MM? I would love to see the Happy Mask Salesman and the Majora possessed Skull Kid be in the game (I can just imagine Happy Mask Salesman skipping around the battlefeild ). That would be the best thing ever if they did that, and hopefully we will see them get revealed..

I need some Vaati and the Toon Link and Zelda appearances to be there. I wanna be the 12 year old Waker of the Winds who dominates the battlefield.

Lol, no, it's cool. My main want for Hyrule Warriors was Vaati, but well...that won't be happening.

Aw man, no Wind Waker? I'm disappointed that it's just going to be three games two of which are the most overrated games in the series. I'll still get the game of course, but I'm not quite looking forward to new character reveals as much as I was before.

I'm glad they picked some of the best Zelda games for the game. I'm disappointed they couldn't do anything for Majora's Mask but I'm alright with them leaving out Wind Waker.

Well...this sucks.I was expecting to see more characters from different Zelda titles. But whatever, at least we got a good list of characters in the game. Also, princess Ruto looks kinda hot in that new screenshot render of her .

I dunno what to say anymore. I'm pretty excited about the new information, but I'm left in utter disappointment that Hyrule Warriors is shaping up to be a game that calls out to the people who got lost in nostalgia or eye candy. I figured a fan serviced tribute game would be extremely diverse, but they only chose 3 games to work with, two of which are the worst Zelda titles I've ever played. I guess the only things to look forward to now are Groose and any other original characters they made.

I think the only reason why they picked those 3 games is because they are 3D games,so its easier for them to recreate the character models and the levels in their game which is lazy,I don't see any other reason.

 

I had so much hope for this game,I'm definitely not as existed as before,but at least there are elements from Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time,which are the best games in the serie and having Skyward sword stuff is still cool.I guess if they stick with those 3 games,it would be cool to ride Epona in game and Dark Link should also be a boss 

San Diego Comic Con has begun and with it, comes a brand new 4 minute trailer, featuring all 10 playable heroes thus far. There's even a silly little running joke at the end. (It's something Aonuma spoke about back at E3)

Yeah, though I believe this Shiek is actually one for HW, rather than OoT. She knows too much of the ongoing events when she appears before Link and Impa.

Shiek using her knives to cut at a Gold Skulltula. Gold Skulltulas require certain circumstances to be met before they appear. Shiek also uses her harp/lyre in her attacks. It is not separate from the knives.

Hyrule Warriors development is officially 100% complete. All that's left is distribution and localization. This doesn't mean that all characters have been announced. In fact, the Japanese website still has Coming Soon signs on both the Heroes and Villains sides and the Stages. Hyrule Warriors releases in just a couple weeks in Japan. We've still a month for the Western Releases.

Darunia Trailer

I'm glad Darunia is playable,I really like the Gorons and he looks awesome to play.

The only zelda game i played was twilight princess and i really like the game and its combat it weird to see link trying to go super saiyen by screaming a lot . But overall the combat looks interesting and i might pick up the game.

Items you get for ordering the Premium/Treasure Box Editions. Triforce Clock comes in both, but the scarf is limited to the box. What's neat is the alarm on the clock and the Treasure Box actually has the jingle for it.

Of course, these are Japan exclusive items at the moment, hopefully we get word of similar treatment for the Western releases.
