Depends on the game. BBS' Critical mode felt more like a Normal difficulty, honestly. DDD's was pretty tough. I haven't played much of it in Re:Coded, but it's not that bad there, either. Haven't played 2FM, so can't say anything there.

Critical isn't even that hard. Unless you start off playing beginner or standard mode, THEN you see how hard it really is

I have played all of the kingdom hearts games excepted for recoded and 358/2days on critical mode. They are all pretty good and it feels so good when you beat a boss on critical mode.

I've never tried critical mode but I think it would still depend on the game. Some games are easier to play than others.

Critical mode in KH1 and BBS were easy, in Re:Com Riku's Crit mode isnt that bad because his character is strong af and i havent tried Sora's yet.

There's Critical Mode hard which is Dream Drop Distance, there's Critical Mode easy which is Birth By Sleep, then there's Critical Mode I want to see you suffer which is Lingering Will.

Never even considered trying Critical Mode. Proud Mode's plenty difficult enough for me.
