Mirage Arena multiplayer still possible in the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 hd remix?

Posted

I never got to play multiplayer on the PSP because none of my friends play Kingdom Hearts. So when I found out that the Mirage Arena wasn't going to support multiplayer in the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 hd remix I was really disappointed. I've always wanted to try it! But I haven't given up all hope that it can't be in the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 hd remix! So I was wondering anyone think they could add multiplayer to the Mirage Arena by making it an add on in the PSN? I mean (correct me if I'm wrong) Square has done stuff like that before with Final Fantasy right? So is it not possible for them to make the Mirage Arena support multiplayer by PSN download?

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how they plan on changing it to make it single player, I'd rather they focus any and all possible multiplayer on Kingdom Hearts III rather than spreading it out at this point

I seriously doubt it, not to get your hopes down though... Heh.

My friend had a copy of BBS and said he never really played it. I should of asked if I could have it, we could had probably played d ya bought it... Whelp

Doubt it'll happen sadly. However, thinking about the way you said it, I think it could potentially be cool to have a strictly multiplayer KH game that uses your save data from the HD games to generate the characters that you use (stats, etc.). Not sure how feasible it is, but Nintendo's had success with stuff like that, so I'd imagine it could work.

They won't bother, It's extra unneeded work for them in the end.

Fool. Multiplayer isn't really all that impressive in Kingdom Hearts (except for 358/2 Days), so it doesn't really matter. I don't think they should waste any time for multiplayer in KH3.

Nah, it's too late for 2.5 ReMIX. They wouldn't lie to us about something like that. I hope that something similar to Mirage Arena returns in KH3, though, and we see the return of multiplayer (even if it's just minor PVE co-op stuff).

They pretty much confirmed at E3 that they took it out and made it a single player, but they increased the difficulty so I'm okay with that.

Nope. Just single-player.

But maybe the KH team should look into creating an online KH game/story where you can only proceed through online, that would be interesting.

Nop false hope. They are not only focussing multilplayer on KH3 but just on KH3.

They already said it would be single-player sadly. But if it means it delays production on KH3, then I can deal without.

As much as I'd love for there to still be multiplayer, I'm afraid that the odds don't seem to be in our favor.

Well, it would be interesting to have multiplayer but its not really a big deal

How about a FM patch that allows the use of multiplayer in BBSfm?

Multiplayer was left out not because infeasible, but because it would have substantially slowed down the development of Kingdom Hearts III. They're not going to include it, but I'm sure they made a great job with the single player version

I guess they made it very clear we aren't going to get a multiplayer for mirage arena, and for that purpose they put some new stuff there.

That would be perfect! They could totally do that right?

In fact they did, this thread is pointless about hoping they'll add it after all. Not gonna happen anyway

I think it can. Maybe not when it first comes out but maybe they can do a patch for it after Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out. After all stranger things have happened.

Maybe after Kingdom Hearts 3 is release there will be a 2.5 DLC that will have the multiplayer part or kh 3 will have some multiplayer sepreate from the main campaign.

As this will be my first time playing bbs and I would like for it to be the way it was meant to be
