Posted September 5, 201411 yr Chrono Cross is my favorite game, but it seems like no one has ever heard of it. Is it really that unpopular?
September 5, 201411 yr I have it, but haven't played much of it. I love it, but I have other games to play. It's one of my priorities when I finish the games I'm working on right now, though. Also, from what I understand, most people hate it because it's not similar to Chrono Trigger. I like CT more, but those people have horrible reasoning.
September 5, 201411 yr I've heard of Chrono Cross I'm planning to play it after I play Chrono Trigger
September 5, 201411 yr Author I agree its nothing like Chrono Trigger but the story and soundtrack are incredible.
September 5, 201411 yr I've played it so many times by now. I remember when I was small I couldn't kill the two white/black elemental bosses near the end due to lack of knowledge on how the game mechanics worked. And yes, I've played Chrono Trigger and thoroughly enjoy both.
September 5, 201411 yr I played Chrono Trigger Chrono Tigger 2 please but not Chrono Cross cause i don't have PS1. but it looks cool. Come on Square You're giving Bravely Default a sequel but not one of you're best games? back in the 1990's? Edited September 5, 201411 yr by GotMilk5101520
September 5, 201411 yr I was enjoying it until I reach a part where one of the party member gets sick.I REALLY don't know where to go after that,so I haven't touched the game ever since.

Come on Square You're giving Bravely Default a sequel but not one of you're best games? back in the 1990's? I heard Chrono Cross is basically Trigger 2 except it was decided not to be named that and doesn't place the focus on the protagonists of Trigger.
September 5, 201411 yr I heard Chrono Cross is basically Trigger 2 except it was decided not to be named that and doesn't place the focus on the protagonists of Trigger. Not sure if Enix's people did work on it, but Kitase and the like didn't work on it.

It's not really a Trigger 2, they're both very different. If it wasn't for a couple plot points, they'd be totally different games. That's not to say Cross is bad, though.

September 5, 201411 yr It depends on what route you take. What do you mean? I tried to go everywhere and I couldn't find that antidote I was suppose to find.
September 5, 201411 yr Author What do you mean? I tried to go everywhere and I couldn't find that antidote I was suppose to find. You have to go to the other world. Take the amulet next to Kid's bed and go to the beach.
September 5, 201411 yr I've heard of it, want to play it, but never played it because it was never released in Australia and I didn't exist when psONE came out. Lmao Edited September 5, 201411 yr by KittensOnFire
September 5, 201411 yr I have played both CT and CC. They are both fantastic in their own right and should not be compared. They both deserve great praise.
September 5, 201411 yr I didn't like the battle system and the characters were annoying and vague. All 40+ of them. It's not a bad game. Just wished they had used a differant approach on the combat that's all.

September 5, 201411 yr I've heard of it but I can't say I've played it as it has never been released in Europe. The soundtrack is really good though, I enjoyed listening to that. Sadly I've only played Chrono Trigger and even then it took a DS remake and nearly 14 years to come to Europe

September 6, 201411 yr I've heard of it, want to play it, but never played it because it was never released in Australia and I didn't exist when psONE came out. Lmao Is it on PSN there? It's on the North American PSN. I can't really say for other regions, though...
