KH1 Kairi or KH2 Kairi? It's so hard! She's always great, but when is she more great?

KH1 Kairi had more spunk, KH2 Kairi is prettier and better proportioned.

Well except for a rounder head and shorter hair for KH1 Kairi, I don't see much of a "facial" difference between them. (I know that hair is not a facial feature...I mean, it could be but not in that case...I hope.)

On topic:I honestly don't like Kairi that much

 

Say what you will guys about Xion at least it served a purpose in the plot in the game she was in instead of being a damsel like Kairi

 

And I like Aqua much more despite some of her ..........questionable decisions in BBS

 

And yes I don't only judge by look,I judge by other qualities too

She is plot you mean? Lol I mean I want reasons and explanations man,what's her personality is like,what did she do in the plot to make her as significant as the others aside from being one of the seven princesses

i dont like kairi all that much but if i had to pick, kh1 kairi is better. she has more personality. i dont really take liking to a character on how they look, i find that silly, but to each their own.

and her clone is my favorite kairi, her nobody in close second.

I like both versions of Kairi, though I often lean toward the KH2 version. Because hey. I played that game first.

KHII Kairi's better visually (though I did like her outfit in KH1 was better, as it's more like what an islander would wear).

 

But as for personality and stuff... I've got to go with KH1. I really liked her snark and tomboy attitude in that game.

 

In the second game, she's a bit more somber. Understandable, since she'd been without her two best friends for about two years--with no idea whether they were okay or not--but I miss that fire. Here's hoping it's back again in KHIII, now that she's had the chance to spend some time with the boys again.

 

Also... she had more of a presence in KH1. She was the main driving force in that game, and even when she wasn't in scenes, I still felt her involvement there.

 

KHII treated her more like the girlfriend in a shounen anime, which is sad to me. They also treated her more fanservice-y in that one. (But that was the time it was released in. KHII came out during the height of Naruto, and things like that, so it's only natural that that's the most shounen feeling game of the series, but still.)

She's done plenty

 

She alerted Sora to block Riku's keyblade in KH1 and if it wasn't for Kairi, Sora would still be a heartless. Not to mention it was memories of her that finally woke Sora up in KH2

She gives something to KH that wouldn't be the same without her.

By the way, this is not me hating on Kairi! I'm probably the biggest Kairi fan ever, and love her to pieces, but there's no denying that SE somewhat... shifted how they treated her in KHII. But then again, the entire tone of the series shifted after KH1 and CoM, so...
