hatok 6,413 Posted November 3, 2014 Lots of talk about under developed KH characters and stuff, so let's play a little game shall we? It's pretty simple Pick your favourite KH character, or the one you think is the most developed and then list as many unique character traits as you can (use examples if you have the time, it helps) Now there is a catch, these have to be UNIQUE traits. You can't just be all like "Sora was willing to sacrifice himself for Kairi" and then "Sora was willing to sacrifice himself for Riku" and so on I was going to do an example, but I feel like that would make people less likely to use whatever character I used as an example I have a theory, but I don't want to colour your responses, so I'll talk about it later
FerroAxel7 237 Posted November 3, 2014 Axel Caring- Roxas leaves Organization and Axel is beside himself. Clutch- Saving Sora last second in KH3D. Ruthless- Snaps his fingers and burns Vexen to a crisp. Loyal- "I'll always be there to bring my friends back." Whether it's by force, if necessary (Xion) or just to help (Sora). Charismatic- More so in his past life just so people will remember him. Valor- Willing burst into flames and fade away just to save Sora.
Ruby Rose 8,591 Posted November 3, 2014 Pence - Originally just a troubled youth with an eating disorder and abusive friends - Took up photography as a hobby, his pictures mediocre at best - Began dabbling in private investigations, noticing anomalies in the world around him - Began pursuing the truth and met travelers from other worlds - Eventually worked a computer that allowed the protagonists to travel to another realm leading to the villains' stronghold From a simple boy with an ice cream addiction like so many in the Kingdom Hearts universe, Pence rose up from his humble beginnings and social class as a background character to assist the heroes in ultimately reaching The World that Never Was If that's not character development I obviously had too much to drink 9 LeYenrz, Gamerazor247, Deadpool and 6 others reacted to this
Caracool 122 Posted November 3, 2014 Roxas : seeker of the truth, don't even know who is he and where he came from, can do anything for his friend, dont know what side choose (best friend Axel , or save his human form Sora), a good sense of justice , he ´s not able to recognize the real and the fake (virtual town and friends), he fight to exist
Kaweebo 3,617 Posted November 3, 2014 I'm torn between Axel & Roxas. I'd say Axel because his whole demeanor changes throughout the series, but we literally see Roxas evolving and growing from the first scene we see him in in KH 358. So, one of those two. Firaga 5,947 Posted November 3, 2014 Riku (Aka best damn character in the series) Redeemable: Went from being an asshole in KHI to a pretty cool guy from then on. Honorable: Even when he was an asshole, he did everything for the sake of his friends, and continued to do so afterwards. Loyal: Willing to work with DiZ and Namine while dealing with his Ansem issues to get Sora's memories back, as well as his stint at the end of DDD. Realistic: Unlike Sora, Riku deals with issues that real people can probably relate to. Badass: This one doesn't need words. 2 TheWayToDawn and Ceriraye reacted to this

Dracozombie 4,554 Posted November 4, 2014 Roxas: Zombie with no idea what's going on around him -> Becomes dimly aware of himself, but otherwise does everything he's told without much questioning for lack of knowing any better -> Gains more exposure to world around him, attains first traces of emotions and friendship, and therefore his first trace of independence -> Forms bonds with others, enough to be at least mildly upset at the thought of Bad Things happening to them -> Bonds become strong enough where he can become visibly upset at their safety, can call out people like Saix on their callousness, and goes out of his way to help others (helping Xion regain her keyblade, looking for her when she disappears, etc.) -> Begins to question and doubt what everyone's been telling him; wishes to gain answers but unsure of how to find them -> Attains enough independence and personality to rebel, and no longer blindly accepts what everyone tells him at face value -> Says "Screw it" to these lying assholes and gets out of town -> Total rebel -> Realizes there's more to him than he realizes -> Accepts he must rejoin Sora for the greater good -> Dismisses any notion of his previous independence and identity, believing himself to be nothing more than a piece of Sora. Those last few ones kinda get to me. Ouch. 1 Firaga reacted to this
Shulk 8,623 Posted November 4, 2014 Riku (Aka best damn character in the series) Redeemable: Went from being an asshole in KHI to a pretty cool guy from then on. Realistic: Unlike Sora, Riku deals with issues that real people can probably relate to. Badass: This one doesn't need words. Although Riku's not my favorite, I think he's the best in terms of development, for the same reasons. However, I'd also like to add his quest to overcome the darkness. He originally fears darkness, then over time, accepts it, and learns to use it's power for good. He was the first character who actually did that, and I really like that about him. 1 Firaga reacted to this

Javelin434 3,164 Posted November 4, 2014 Kairi! Innocence: Humorously unaware that both her best friends have the hots for her Brave: Considering that she's willing to put herself in danger to protect her friends despite not having the same combat prowess like Sora or Riku. Faithful: Waiting almost a year for her friends to return. Determined: As of KH3D, wants to not be a damsel in distress anymore. 1 Ruby Rose reacted to this
Jermaine 79 Posted November 4, 2014 Mickey Growth- Went from childs play in 1st game, to a full fledged keyblade master, and dominance in DDD.(STOPZA) Guidance- Even in the 1st game with the brief cameo given, he was guiding you (dive into heart i think). He also bonded with Riku. He literally saved Riku in COM and showed he was willing to befriend a troubled child and turn him around. He also saved the loneliness and these moments make me so god damn happy. Willingness To Learn- He not only teaches, but learned things from Riku and Sora, and applied them to himself. Mysterious- There is much about Mickeys past not known. He is even mysterious in the 1st game, and it makes you think. Humble- He is a king, and still treats himself like an equal of the trio of him Goofy and Donald. He also is willing to engage in battle and always is helping. Mickey isn't even my favorite character, but I didn't see anything on him. I also think he deserves a game.
