February 19, 201510 yr I know a lot of the other games are, ya know, better designed, but FF3 always has a special place in my heart. I just wish it didn't force you to go through 2 dungeons and 5 bosses in the end without saving.
February 19, 201510 yr As far as my personal favorite, It has to be ffIII I love that game so much and still do, Granted VII, X, and XIII were verry good 3 just took that place many years ago
February 19, 201510 yr FFXII was my first FF game, so it has a lot of good memories with me. I personally just love the world and everything about it. The only complaint that I have about that game is RNJESUS. Trying to get 6 Zodiac Spears is freakishly hard. I didn't know Satan made probabilities until I went to get the spears. Also, Ashe is amazing. As is Larsa. That is all. Edited February 19, 201510 yr by Fulminata_XII
February 19, 201510 yr FFVII of course I played FFVII, and I must say it wasn't worth all the hype. Don't get me wrong, it is great, just not the best FF, let alone JRPG that I've played.
February 19, 201510 yr FFVI is easily my favorite. It marked the end of what I consider to be the series' golden age, and boy did that golden age go out with a bang.
February 19, 201510 yr Of the few FF games I've played, IX was the only one I actually enjoyed (VIII was close though). I have been meaning to go back and play some of the older ones though- I've heard some great things about VI, for example.
February 19, 201510 yr I've played them all in various degrees of intensity, and XII is definitely my favourite. Love the world, love the way they switched up the battle system. RNG was annoying, but I never considered multiples of the Zodiac Spear necessary for a 100% run. So, XII>X>IX>VIII>III>I>VII>XIII-2>XIII>X-2>IV>VI>V>II>LR.

It's a pretty increidble game, but it's a lot like Ocarina of Time or FFVII where a lot of the stuff that was REALLY impressive was only impressive for the time period it was released in (like the idea of having a ten minute song dedicated to the final boss when they were dealing in literal megabytes of data) FFVI is easily my favorite. It marked the end of what I consider to be the series' golden age, and boy did that golden age go out with a bang. but FFIX came out after VI
February 19, 201510 yr The only main FF games I've yet to play are VII and IX, but of those two, I definitely prefer IX.
February 19, 201510 yr Of the ones that I have played, I have to give the unpopular opinion of XIII. I am much more story driven when it comes to games. XIII was well developed story and lore wise. I personally enjoyed the gameplay and found it very engaging. And there is no denying that the graphic quality is outstanding even by current gen standards.

February 19, 201510 yr Well my main Favorite Final fantasy is :Final Fantasy 8.(because i liked the weapon and it`s design . and also the character.) and it`s the first Final Fantasy i had playing in playstation 1 followed by Final Fantasy 9( i also love this one.)and then Final Fantasy 7. and the rest of Final Fantasy Yoshitaka amano art and now i`m planning to play XIII .
February 19, 201510 yr I haven't played many FF games but of the ones I did play I enjoyed IX the most.

Its not my favorite JRPG as well, but I really like the story, the setting and the characters and of all the FF I've played, this is the one I had most fun playing.

February 19, 201510 yr I really wanted to say either IV or VI, but opted for IX. For me it's the best Final Fantasy game.
February 19, 201510 yr No need to tell me I'm wrong over an opinion. I consider IV-VI to be the best. it's my opinion you're wrong wuh oh guess you can't say anything about my opinion now
February 19, 201510 yr it's my opinion you're wrong wuh oh guess you can't say anything about my opinion now I fail to see a reason why you felt a need to make such a rude response after getting on my case for not thinking IX is one of the best FF games.
February 19, 201510 yr I fail to see a reason why you felt a need to make such a rude response after getting on my case for not thinking IX is one of the best FF games. I WASN'T getting on your case though, you're the one that made a big deal about it
February 19, 201510 yr I WASN'T getting on your case though, you're the one that made a big deal about it "But IX came after VI" I simply stated that I think the best FF games were on the SNES, and you went on about how that's wrong because IX wasn't included in that. You really didn't need to go and tell me that in the first place, unless you were just trying to get something started.
I would include XV, but it's not even released yet so... yeah.
