Are you guys hating Re:Coded?

Posted

So i was on the internet and read some comments to KH Re:Coded and many people are saying, that it's the worst Kingdom Hearts game and they all sound like they are really hating it...I agree, in my opinion Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded actually is the worst title, but i still love it, i enjoyed playing it and i like it even more now, because of the cutscenes. I really loved the battle between Data Sora and Data Riku and of course the battle between Data Sora and Data Roxas. There are many battles in Kingdom hearts that give someone the feels and i think they somehow belong to them. I love Re:Coded very much, just like every other Kingdom Hearts title, even if it may be the worst of them allWhat about you? I'd like to read some of your opinions^^

I like that game. Even though it sucks graphically, the gameplay is so cool and unique.

I liked it too actually, it just doesn't have much plot development.

It probably is the weakest KH title, but hey, that doesn't mean it's bad!

It just means the other games are really amazing!

It's not a bad game. It's my least favorite in the main series, but that's mostly due to the irrelevancy of it. It was mostly just set-up for 3D.

Re:Coded s one of the better KH games. Better writing than most, better gameplay than most. More unique gimmicks.

Best Sora

it's hated because as a rule KH fans have awful taste and would prefer having stuff like 358/2 Days because it's written on the same level as their fanfics

I love it. It's way better than Days was.

I like almost everything about it: the combat, the BBS-like command system, the levelling and even the story, though the disney worlds were just filler. It's a really good game.

But firetruck those Danger Bugs.

The game is not awful I guess, but its so boring.Same worlds, boring story,I really don't like it.

Hate playing it. Hated the fact that each world story is essentially a rehash of KH1 with the bugs thing. I beat it once, unlocked the secret video and then vowed to never play it again.

And as far as the Re:Coded scenes in 2.5 HD.... 15 minute story dragged out into 3 mind-numbing hours.... Well, I got the trophies.

I agree that the dialogue was good, even if it sounded a bit scripted/flat. It was witty.  :P

I personally loved it. The combat is just as solid as any other title and while the story isn't as grand as the others, it still manages to entertain and be interesting.

The graphics blew, majorly, but I loved it: exploring the old worlds on my Ds was great, and I love the slight remixes they used for Traverse Town and Roxas's theme.

I'm not a major fan of the sprites, but the C.O. part with the three different ending was cool.

Not the BEST, but not the WORST. None of the KH games are BAD really, just iffy sometimes.

Honestly it really depends on the players and how they can play or connect with the games. For me I actually don't like playing Re:coded on the handheld but I prefer watching Re:coded as a movie like in 2.5 HD Remix.

I haven't played Re: Coded at all, and I feel pretty bad not having it. Re: Coded along with HD 1.5 and 2.5 are the only Kingdom Hearts games I don't have.

Going back to Re: Coded, I've seen the gameplays on You Tube, read the summary from Dream Drop Distance, and even seen the Cinematic Version with its Secret Cutscenes. And they all are pretty good.

So, I really don't hate Re: Coded.

I like it a little better since seeing it has more relevance in 3D than just passing on a message to Sora that they aren't done yet.

Still probably my least favorite for story.  Gameplay was fun although I hate those Eliminators.

There's always gonna be a bell curve. Just because re coded is at the bottom of the KH series, does not make it a bad game. It just shows how good the KH series is.

Re:Coded is one of those side games in the series that doesn't connect a lot to the story entirely. Its probably down on the list for not having much of an extent to the actual storyline, but gameplay is pretty good and I say its pretty good as a side-game to get us juiced up a bit for when Kingdom Hearts 3D was going to be released. It just depends on what you prefer: Gameplay or Storyline. If you prefer Storyline, obviously its not going to be your favorite game in the series. If you prefer Gameplay however, it may be one of the top games for you.
