Customization of character in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Posted

KH Chi has that customization of characters. So why not in KH3 too? Like if there is a battle arena like for example mirage area in Kingdom Hearts 3, why not have customize your own character hair face weaponry or armory. Wouldn't that be neat to have that feature in the game?

Because since multiplayer for BBS in the PS3 didn't go through, I was thinking about this that they might make it for the next game to come. What do you think? :/ hmmmm....

e.

that takes a bunch of resources I'd rather they spend on things relevant to the story

I see, you have a good point there :/ It would also take a lot of time. Though why was the multiplayer for bbs 2.5 got canceled? :/

You could in Chi because you're creating your own game avatar. In KH3, whoever you end up being able to play as is going to be an established character with a set design, so customization would be more or less unnecessary.

If there is a separate Mirage Arena type area, then yeah, I guess designing your own character would be neat, but I'd much rather they just work on making a sublime single player experience.

There should be no multiplayer for KHIII. It was a gimmick in BBS, but I think KHIII should focus entirely on the main game and nothing else.

True true. Your right. Along with what HeyMouseSayCheese and also Hatok. Kingdom hearts 1 and 2 have been a major game all this time. And kh3 is a major game too. Sticking with the story.

As much fun as I'd have creating a purple haired avatar with green clothes (Purplengreen4ever), I'd rather they worked out kinks and bugs from past games. To be honest, making the armor different colours wasn't really a big deal, and a full on Sims-style custom system could take up too much space.

That's my view on it, anyway

It might be a little challenging to make a mirage arena for KH III unless they were to end up making it on a handheld or something because the multiplayer for both BbS and 358 days were excellent, but mostly because it allowed every player to have their own screen. And although turning KH III into an MMO would be pretty cool, it is less likely to happen because it is a home console.

I think there should be a character customization, too. But I don't really think multiplayer is necessary, since I never use it anyway.

Also, who would possibly want to see Sora in a keyblade armor? That would look very odd considering he uses the Kingdom Key. I mean, what would that even look like?

Yeah your right :/ It might look a bit weird. But then what about changing clothes? :/ Would you guys think they might add that too?

They seriously could've made X [chi] a whole lot cooler if they had just made it into an MMO in 3D type gameplay where you could fight each other or work together like in BbS but it's online.

Agreed. That would, however, have taken a ton more resources and effort to make into a working game compared to a 2D browser card game, and it'd still be Japan only, so meh.

I'd like to see what that'd look like. Multiplayer would be kinda fun. Customizing Sora would be kinda fun. Putting Sora in a cat outfit that'd boost his strength or something would be kinda cute. Think of it. Sora in a cat outfit!! If that isn't kawaii...I don't know what is

Tai Yasue or Tetsuya Nomura did state the options of online capabilities so character customization isn't completely out of the question... and now that they've experimented with it on Kingdom Hearts Chi, it has a very strong change of being present in Kingdom Hearts 3, however, I think it will strictly be for online play.

maybe if it was like Madness Returns Where i could choose which outfit i wanted sora in after i beat the game and each outfit had a little bonus like extra life or money magnet or something. with each of his diffrent forms, but i dont think costumization is nessisary

I see, maybe they might think of that in Unchained? Since its a whole new remake of Chi... :)

Well you might never know it could happen after all Unchained is in developing. They might add that. :) Or I could be wrong.. :( I hope so. Ot would make the game as you said a lot cooler.

Yeah now that would be awesome to have Sora changes outfits that gives special powers and abilities :D

Really? :O So it might happen?

yeah that would be swell to have in that game. :D change his outfits, So that he won't have to wear the same clothes. And seeing Sora in different outfits is gonna be fun and the best way to collect munny and use to buy clothes and healing potions :)

so whats your favorite of his outfits?

FrightfurUnversedso whats your favorite of his outfits?

Definitely Halloween town. :D It's the only one different. :D I like Kh 2 outfit as well and his drive forms is the same original outfit he has but with a change of. Color and the tribal tatoos it his. And his outfit in KH3D seems to be the same outfit in KH1 but the color is more red and has the sigil X in the middle. But my favorite is his halloween town outfit. :) Oh yeah and don't forget the christmas outfit that he has a little santa's hat in KH 2 final Mix.

KH3 needs more than just the campaign. I love the series, but I've waited so long and playing the story 50,000 times won't do much for me now. Gaming is much more than the single player campaign for me.

Also, who would possibly want to see Sora in a keyblade armor? That would look very odd considering he uses the Kingdom Key. I mean, what would that even look like?

I've always thought that it'd look something like Xions armor from 358/2 days

What I would like to see in terms of customization is being able to change Sora and the gang's clothes, or at the very least, subtle things like equipment items that one obtains during the game, such as stat boosting bracelets and stuff like that!  It would be cool if we could see the characters wearing said bracelets and other types of stat boosting equipment!  That would be nice!  But in terms of the characters themselves, I just hope Nomura gives everyone new clothes!

Ooh, and who knows?  Maybe halfway through the game, we could unlock costumes from past games, so we can see Sora and the gang with clothes from throughout the course of the series! :D

I would love to see this in KH3, but I think it should be separated from the main story/campaign and then we have an option to choose Multiplayer and can create our own character there if we can play online. :) If we are able to customize Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc. then I think it would be nice DLC content, like Riku wearing a Sephiroth costume or something. c:
