July 1, 201510 yr With a name like suffer, I highly doubt we need to even explain. At the end of the day, Kingdom Hearts is a game series that has achieved an impossible feat. Disney are branded as the definitive childhood entrainment experience and the Final Fantasy series is branded as the definitive Fantasy Role Playing experience. Kingdom Hearts was the amalgamation of Disney+Final Fantasy (moreso Disney) and created its own niche series. The first game was such a shocking success that it created a GBA handheld spin-off and an eventual sequel. The second entry officially solidified the Kingdom Hearts series by introducing a slew of original characters. Since then, fans were eagerly waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 to arrive. Sqaure Enix made the controversial move to further expand on the series by creating a lot of side games to further flesh out the lore and further complicate the series. This ultimately paid off as it not only provided the developers new gameplay innovations, but, it has also provided some of the most iconic characters in video game history. Eventually, Kingdom Hearts was regarded as the Disney+Square Enix game as the Final Fantasy characters were less prominent in the spin offs. With patience and a dedicated fanbase, we finally arrived with Kingdom Hearts 3. This game is like the Duke Nukem of video games that was in development hell on purpose, but now, it is finally in development. With a brand new asthetic with the "Kingdom Shader" and creative ways in which Square Enix are allowed to use the Disney I.P.
