Have you ever sent/found a bottled letter in the ocean or beach?

I live by a large lake that can be mistaken for an ocean, but I've never found a message in a bottle.

Nope, I haven't tried doing that yet, and I've never received a message in a bottle either!  But, it would be cool to try that out, one day! :D

when I was in junior highschool I visited one of the the beaches in Sydney with my family this one time; I wrote a message and put it in a bottle and cast it into the waves....

I was lucky I didn't get into trouble for public littering, but I don't think anyone picked up my message - it probably swept up by the people in big boats who remove wastes from the waters and disposed of.

I never found a bottle but we had a bottle with a message on it.

Never found a message in a bottle before. I never sent one either but I might do that now!

imma send a doodle of a penis

People still do these?!?!? O.O

Anyways, no, I don't exactly live near a big body of water, but when I do visit the beach, I have never found a message in a bottle, I thought people seriously didn't do them anymore outside of Movies, TV, and video games! But hey even if I did find a letter in a bottle, I wouldn't be able to open it with smashing the bottle.

I was planning on going to the beach at some point, but now that you bring this up I wonder if I can stick Kairi's letter in a bottle and blow someone's mind (or make a non-fan think they found someone's love letter for a mermaid).

I haven't gotten one before myself. Mostly because I don't live near the ocean. Someday though, I have to try it!

yeah I have, it was pretty weird. this is what it said

you have to play Coded to find out lol

I live hours from any major body of water so nope

I have not! Usually when I'm at the beach I'd like to be swimming or sleeping, which doesn't leave much room for bottle finding. If I've ever sent one, I was probably too young to remember it.

I haven't sent/found any message in a bottle....but i will someday...

I'd like too someday, and seeing as I live in the UK you're never very far away from the coast! I am definitely gonna do it next time we go.

Not in ocean or beach, but in a river. And it was a plastic Coca-Cola bottle. It was about 8-10 years ago so I don't remember much about the message itself except that it was from "Captain Shitbeard" and it had an address where a reply should be send.

I never found or sent one.

I live smack dab in the middle of the country.

*single tear trails down face*

Finding a bottle with a message in it would be amazing and soooooo romantic  :3  :3 ... depending on what's written on it of course :O
