Of course Kingdom Hearts 3 is important to most, if not all, of us. My question is, what makes it important to you? For me, it's important because it's the end of us waiting, besides waiting for it to release. I'm pretty sure each of us had a time where we thought it would never come, I know I did. Thankfully though, Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced two years ago which restored faith to those who had lost it and brought joy to us all. I remember my first Kingdom Hearts memory was watching my friend fight Maleficent in her Dragon form and beating her for the first time. After that, I was hooked. Now years later, I've played all the games, some multiple times, and I'm now waiting for the final installment in this saga. To me, it feels like the final Kingdom Hearts game is coming out, but it's just the beginning for more to come. Kingdom Hearts 3 is important to me because it's needed closure, I never thought it'd come, and it's both an end and beginning for the franchise. Despite announcing it a bit early, thank you Nomura for letting us know that we hadn't been waiting for nothing. And for you guys, what makes Kingdom Hearts 3 important to you?

The game being released. That's all important to me.

It's important to me because I want the KH series to continue as much as possible and reach its full potential. It releasing and building hypw means that the series can still get even more popular and amazing. The Xehanort saga closing is also important because I've spent the past 8 years of my life obsessing over the story so far and I don't want to be disappointed nor do I want the series I love so much to suffer from that

It's important to me because Sora, Kairi & Riku were older than me when I first started playing the games (I was 10, they were 14/15) and for a long time, I felt like I was growing up with them. But then that process was halted and dragged out and even though I love the side games, I'm so happy to see them (at least Sora, since Kairi and Riku haven't been shown yet) looking more mature.

 

Every game has been important to me but this one has been a long time coming. 

The reason that Kingdom Hearts III is so important to me, is the fact that this game will bring closure to the Xehanort Saga!  The journey that started way back in 2002 has been leading up to this momentous occasion!  We've all grown on this journey throughout the years, and we've all experienced a wide array of emotions such as happiness, grief, shock, anger, relief...God, it's all been such an exhilarating ride!  We've seen these characters, who have become so beloved to us, go to hell and back, and suffer from Xehanort's machinations.  And even though there has been almost nothing but grief, there have also been those moments of hope, and it's that hope that'll carry the characters in the series to end things with Xehanort once and for all!  And we'll all have a front row seat to this sweeping conclusion!

 

I've been a fan of the series since 2006, and I've loved and cherished this series deeply, and I always will!  Even though it's only been 9 years, to me, it's felt like I've been a fan of this series for a lifetime!  And in the end, that's the kind of effect these types of games have on people, you know?  And the thing I love most is how the series connects with its audience.  Heck, some of the most amazing people in the world I know are fans of Kingdom Hearts!

 

And well, when Kingdom Hearts III comes out...just the fact that we'll finally have the game, and we'll be able to finish this long and harrowing journey...God, it'll take more than words to explain the feeling that comes with all that! :')

 

That's why Kingdom Hearts III is important to me!

Closure to a story that has dragged me through it's ups and dowsn for going on 7 years, taken possibly 100 hours per game from my life, made me extremely sad over pixels in a DS cartridge, and dragged me through 8 mangas, and 1 novel, not to mention the ungodly amount of fanfiction I used to read. Just closure to this long, crazy ride, until the new saga comes along to ruin my life further.

It's important to me because it's the end of an era. The end to a story that I've been hooked on to since 2004 (when I first got KH1).

 

Yes I'm perfectly aware that it's not the end of the franchise.

It's important because... It's the closing and beginning of another chapter in my life. Since I first started playing KH1 in my life, I've been a fan of it ever since. It's my most favorite thing in the universe. It's affected my life so much (especially by introducing me to all you wonderful people.) by just making me want to draw, and create stories of my own. It's the reason why I am who I am today. Kingdom Hearts introduced me to friends, made me laugh, made me cry. And to see the series grow and to see the conclusion to the Xehanort Saga is like seeing the conclusion to a chapter in my life. The conclusion to a part of me. But it is also the beginning. After KH3 is released, and a new saga begins, it will be the beginning of another part of me. Another beautiful part of my life. I can't even explain into words how important Kingdom Hearts is to me. Many people would say that I'm crazy and that its just a video game. No. It's so much more.

I wouldn't say "it's important" to me, because I have to put the very important stuff I'm dealing/soon dealing with in front.

 

But for a means of "easing off some stress, putting myself in my happy place, get my mind off of the world around me, etc." it's important to me because, the whole series reflects the time of my innocents (my childhood) when I would watch Disney Movies with my brother, it reflects very time when I first seen the Kingdom Hearts trailer on TV and got me so determined to get it (I ended up getting kinda late), and it reflects my early high school teen years of me playing the game and got me interested in Final Fantasy. Then more games showed up and I played them (except for Re: Coded, but I did see the gameplay/HD cinematic version). I love the story even more, the characters, the music, EVERYTHING!!! It's like I found a place where I can belong (sort of speakng...) when the world around me, don't seem pleasant. 

 

Just seeing the trailers, keeping posted of info, reading about what Nomura and Yasue is saying, is like all of us came a long long way. And we all can just look down at the time we seen or heard about Kingdom Hearts. It makes me want to continue onward playing the series, despite I'm an adult.

its important to me because it's the end of the current story line and i would like to see how Nomura wraps this all up. 

i've also been a fan of the series since it first began so i'm sure when i'm actually playing the game for myself and i'm watching the ending i'll start getting teary eyed and nostalgic as i look back at my memories with this series.

but for right now im cynical and full of low expectations. 

Kingdom Hearts 3 is very important to me because I've been wanted to play it since Kingdom Hearts 2 and I've been wondering how the Xehanort Saga is going to end.

It's important to me because it will clean all the mess of the series' story .

Kingdom Hearts 3 is very important to me, because, Disney Animation have been releasing quality music ever since John Lasseter became Chief Creative Officer.

 

I want to see the magic of one genius property "Kingdom Hearts" merge with another genius property "Disney Animation" with updated hardware.

It's important to me becaause... I don't really know. When I first got my PS2, I found a shop that was selling all ps2 games on a BOGOF. So my brother paid for Sonic Heroes and I got Kingdom Hearts 2 free. And it was the best freebie ever!

 

I think that it's important to me because I'll get closure, but really I think that's only a small part of it. I feel like when I get KH3, it'll work it's charm on all of my cousins and my siblings again, because when I first got KH2 everyone looked at the cover and started dissing it. But then I put it in the Playstation, and everyone was quiet. I think we all became hooked. Also, for the first week, we didn't have any memory cards for the PS2, and God knows how we managed to get past the prologue when we had to restart every time!

 

KH2 just brought us all together really. I taught my 4 yo sister how to play in the 100 Acre Woods. My cousin (who loves The Little Mermaid) wrestled the controller out of my hand an finished the whole world while we all sang along. And the best memory I have is in the summer, when my mum used to work, she'd drop us off early at our cousin's house, and for that whole Summer, the playstation lived in a carrier bag (and it was the same one too!) We carried it to and fro, connecting it to the upstairs tv and the downstairs one.

 

And when we got to the world that never was, it was the best teamwork we'd ever done (that doesn't really make much sense but you get the idea!) I took on the middle, my cousin took on the beginning and my brother took on the end.

 

We're older now, but not so old tha we can't enjoy KH3!

Because these games have made me go though a storm of feels, and I want to know how will it end. What will happen with the characters? What will happen with Xehanort? What will happen to the worlds? What could possible be next? I wanna knoooow

I grew up with it, and it aged well with its gameplay and story. I am ready to have see where it goes.

I suppose what makes it important to me is the fact for me personally I grew up with Kingdom Hearts and after over a decade I want to finally end the saga. I have a lot of questions I want answering especially what the heck actually is Ansem's data? And also as using a term from Xigbar ' The Old Coot' needs to be finally dealt with
