Exiblade7 1,917 Posted November 28, 2015 When I first heard the rumors that Pride Lands might not be in kingdom hearts 3, I was almost disapointed, but since it has been a quite a while since that event happened I had the time to think it over and now I think that it doesn't really matter that Pride Lands makes it into kingdom hearts 3 or not because when I think about it, kingdom hearts 3 would actually benefit kingdom hearts 3 instead of worlds that people want to return in kingdom hearts 3 because of nostaglia. Don't get me wrong. I love the lion king movie and its appearance in kingdom hearts 2! it's actually my 2d favorite kingdom hearts 2 world just behind Port royal. Komali 594 Posted November 29, 2015 Yes, it should. In my opinion every world should return just to show the graphical improvements compared to the older games. But it won't work and only worlds which have "potential" will be in KH3. Forever 3,550 Posted November 29, 2015 It's not that I don't want some of those classic Worlds back, it's just that for many of them, I can't envision much of a story. When we last left Pride Lands, Scar was defeated, so that story is kinda over...(Unless they plan to go with the movie's sequel, which I doubt.) There isn't much more left to do in Halloween Town either....are we going to find Sandy Claws again? Same with the Little Mermaid. In the KH2 credits, she was getting married to Eric, so that one's over as well. Again, this is assuming they won't go the sequel route. Even now, I'm kind of holding my breath with the Olympus World, and hoping the story is actually crucial to the game's plot, and not just an excuse to see Hercules again. People say that the Pride Lands returning would be unlikely, since the time gap from when Simba took his place in the Circle Of Life to his daughter Kiara growing up into a young teenage lioness is a considerable one, and while that's true, think of this! Maleficent clearly stated that the fabled Book Of Prophecies can be able to bring worlds and people from the future into the present! In other words, if one were to acquire said book, or at least Maleficent uses it to summon various worlds from the future, then that means we'd probably get to visit a flourishing Pride Lands, with Simba's daughter already a teenager! And then, enter Kovu, who is a perfect character befitting of the themes of Kingdom Hearts, and voila! With the Book Of Prophecies being a factor in Kingdom Hearts III, I think the Pride Lands returning isn't too far-fetched! D: find it interesting that just one new secret cutscene in the recoded movie opens up the possibility of some returning worlds in kingdom hearts 3 and one of them could be pride lands. Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted November 29, 2015 Well, there IS Lion King 2 to work off of... and Atlantica (Or the land portion of it) has potential to return because of Little Mermaid 2. Halloween Town is more than likely out: they kinda wore it out with repeated use. Wonderland might happen as a chance to show updated graphics, since you can easily make up a story about it. Hallowseve 143 Posted November 29, 2015 It's hard to say at this point and time. Anything is possible. What Square gave off to me, is that we won't see that many returning worlds. Maybe a few, but I think KH3 will have mainly new worlds. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Pride Lands and other classic worlds to return too, but I'll be happy either way. Well it would be nice to see world worlds return which if they went back to being more like KH1 where the worlds have their own stories with a few few references to the movies then it would be nice. One thing that's really bothered me with the games after the first one is that the worlds had no plot relevance, and the stories of each of the worlds were just watered down versions of their movies plots. Whatever, I would love to see Pride Lands again. It was just so nicely different. I wonder, if Simba or his daughter would be our partner, though. The story is more about her, I guess. Port Royal should return, too. They could use the movies or some other stuff because, I think, the world of PoC feels pretty big in general.
