January 6, 20169 yr >Includes Xbox One Controller, EVE: Valkyrie, and Lucky's Tale The games are justified, but a controller as well? I smell a controllerless version for slightly cheaper. Maybe not much, but it's something. Kind of expected it to be in the $600 range, after hearing the creator's statement about wanting to deliver a 'quality product, with no shortcuts, which justifies a more expensive price-point than $300.' It better be damn well worth it.
January 6, 20169 yr College pretty much guarentees I wont buying this for the next four years. To bad too, I would love to play this.
January 6, 20169 yr remember when the PS3 was $600.it sold well and got it's price dropped in half 3 years later

No way in hell I'm gonna pay this much for anything.Didn't do it with the Ps3 and was forced to wait YEAAARS for a price cut and won't do it here remember when the PS3 was $600.it sold well and got it's price dropped in half 3 years later Actually in it's early years the Ps3 sold horribly due to it's price and sales later increased when more games arrived and when the price was cut

January 6, 20169 yr the PS3 sold about 5.5 million units in its first year True but the following two years weren't too bright especially compared to the Xbox 360
January 6, 20169 yr 99% of people complaining about the price don't even have a good enough PC to use it. New technology is always expensive. This is a compact screen with 2160x1200 res, 90hz refresh rate and it comes with a controller and 2 games. People that expected this to be around 300 dollars are crazy.

Dumb people don´t know that making new technology is hell expensive and eventually cheapen after few years, when said new technology becomes obsolete.
January 6, 20169 yr That's AUD848 and not including tax. Too high a price for something that isn't even that impressive... Edited January 6, 20169 yr by MythrilMagician

January 6, 20169 yr Have you played many games on the Oculus?I've used an Oculus before, but it wasn't for a game. It was for a video. I wasn't too impressed by it.
January 6, 20169 yr I've used an Oculus before, but it wasn't for a game. It was for a video. I wasn't too impressed by it. Yeah, that's the same as me. I don't think I will buy one but I think there is a market for it. PC gamers often spend high amounts for things which aren't necessary... $700+ for a 4K computer screen, $200 keyboards, $100 mice, $300 headsets, etc.
January 6, 20169 yr I've used an Oculus before, but it wasn't for a game. It was for a video. I wasn't too impressed by it. My first time trying a Oculus was the rollercoaster demo, and I was really unimpressed. Later that day I tried the Eve Valkyrie and I was sold on the spot. Being able to use your head to lock on to other ships and look around was really unreal.
