January 9, 20169 yr L.A. Noire is a great detective game, and it had me stumped with quite a few decisions. The other parts such as the gunplay and driving sequences are mediocre compared to games like GTA. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a great game. The games world is very well realized and unlike Fallout, I find it much more interesting to explore. Since it is a Bethesda game, it is full of glitches, although I personally haven't encountered many.
January 9, 20169 yr Grand theft auto V: I personally don't like it. I suck at the controls and have 10 years olds shouting at me that I am stupid when I play online. Then when I do complete a mission they shoot me and I lose the money I made. Loading times are also horrible. Just not my type of game I guess... Red dead redemption: I haven't played it yet...*hides in shame* Heard it's great though. Bioshock infinite: Great visuals and a solid shooter with nice powers to use. I just thought the story started off great and became irrelivant after a while, which made me lose interest. L.A. Noire: I really enjoyed this game. The main thing you do is solve crimes by looking for clues and interrogate people. It is really satisfying when the bad guy is behind bars. Controls for driving and shooting can be a bit clunky though. Stil, it's decent entertainment. The Elder scrolls V: Skyrim: When I first started playing this game I hated it. I got killed of by nearly everything. But then I stole this really badass sword and took over the world as the dragon born. The side quests are all so interesting and the lore is almost endless. The combat is a bit...weird. It feels like you're not hitting anything. But that all is easily forgiven. This game is as good as people say. Edited January 9, 20169 yr by Kimberley Coehoorn
January 9, 20169 yr Grand Theft Auto V Red Dead Redemption BioShock Infinite L.A. Noire The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim GTA V-One of the best video games, ever created. You have to be a fool not to appreciate the level of detail and the scope of that game. Everything is almost perfect, the story isn't that bad but could be better, the graphics are fantastic, the shooting is actually fun and tolerable unlike GTA San Andreas and Gta IV. There's 3 different characters each with unique dialogue and cool personalities, tons of things to do in singleplayer alone but even more in online. Brilliant game. TASV-One of my top 5 favourite games ever. I got this for christmas 4 years ago and oh my god, this game was pure fun. There's tons of options and ways to customise your character, the quests and the lore are so intriguing and rewarding, the hand to hand combat is so polished and smooth, the graphics are pretty good as well. I've invested so many hours into this game because the game made me love it, nothing felt forced and I could do what ever when ever I felt like it. It's an experience more than a video game. I love all the different types of weapons I could use and people I could speak to. L.A Noire-The only game on the list I haven't completed, if I knew it was on steam I would've bought it during sales . It was pretty fun from what I remember, but I won't give a solid opinion. BioShock Infinite-I played this one without playing the others and it was pretty fun, but not incredible. The gameplay is repetitive as you can only carry 2 guns at once so I just felt I was doing the same things over and over. However the story is really good with loads of plot twists and interesting bits of lore and social commentary. Red Dead Redemption-Fantastic game, i never had the chance to play undead but Red Dead is great. The story is simple but takes loads of twists and turns, it plays out like GTA where the story forces you to move from one area into another. I liked all the different weapons I could equip, the horse riding is fun but sometimes it does get a bit irritating. The gun play is great though and I love the setting, the environment is eye candy. The missions have a good variety though. Edited January 9, 20169 yr by Shinobi Palace
January 9, 20169 yr I haven't finished any of them, and I've only played GTA V and Skyrim. GTA is amazing, one of the best games Rockstar has ever made, but in my opinion it's still not at the same level as San Andreas was. Skyrim, now I played this one for a few weeks, I think it's OK, but I'm just not into that sort of game, I got bored soon enough and didn't really get that much into the game. However, I still think it's probably one of the best games of that style.
January 9, 20169 yr I've only played skyrim... It's pretty fun. I like exploring but am bad at staying focused on quests. Lucky for me I can spend forever just exploring without any real consequences so that's what I've spent the 10-15 hours I have on it doing
January 9, 20169 yr i couldn't get into GTA V when i tried it. both the single and multiplayer. controls felt pretty bad and movement was sluggish. Bioshock Infinite was an enjoyable narrative experience though. I wouldn't go into it expecting Grade A style gameplay. It's pretty simple and is only there to keep the story moving along. It's one of those games that you'll want to play again right after finishing it in order to see things you missed the first time. Overall, it was a fun game. haven't played the other games on that list though.
January 9, 20169 yr I've had little experience with them all Grand Theft Auto V - Don't have but played on Conaill's PS4, seems fun but not exactly suited to my preferences so I haven't bought it yet (when it's like a tenner I prob will) Red Dead Redemption Haven't played know little about. BioShock Infinite I'm in the middle of Bioshock (1) and love the lore, gameplay and story of it so far, I know that Infinite is meant to be just as good (whereas Bioshock 2's meant to be crap? But the sound of little sisters grown into big sisters seems cool to me), but I've avoided most information about it cause I wanna play it myself L.A. Noire Watched Conaill play through it, it seemed good apart from the way the story went at the end felt weird(some actions of the protag seemed just out of character). And there was one case I watched where the right suspect didn't make sense, like the only logical solution to the person chosen could be based on bias attitude in the police system, but it didn't make that clear. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Had a crack at it but don't own it so again don't know much about it. I feel it's too in depth for me to really get into right now when I have other games I still need to finish.
January 9, 20169 yr Love 'em all! They're all worth a playthrough or two....maybe ten. That's literally all you need to know.
January 9, 20169 yr GTAV is overrated I don't know about RDR but have heard amazing things BioShock Infinite is wonderfully plotted and super fun to play LA Noire has a good story and characters, but obviously a little meh on the gameplay Skyrim is good but occasionally TOO big, basically open world games hit critical mass.
January 10, 20169 yr I've only played Skyrim and the first Bioshock. Skyrim is a great open world game and worth the purchase. I don't know about Infinite, but the first Bioshock was great.
January 10, 20169 yr Grand Theft Auto V: 8/10. Fun campaign and the online is alright. Story isn't amazing but it is well crafted. Red Dead Redemption: Never played BioShock Infinite: 10/10. Fun campaign with an awesome and engaging story. Highly recommended. L.A. Noire: I've only played it for a few hours but it never hooked me. I'd give it a 6/10 from what I've played The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: 8/10, Not quite as good as modern open world RPGs but still fun if you can get past the introduction. Massive open world with lots of gameplay options. The swordplay is very basic and not that engaging but being able to use stealth, magic and ranged combat makes it more interesting.
January 12, 20169 yr Author I'll get Red Dead Redemption & L.A. Noire. I've ruled out BioShock Infinite. Still deciding on GTA V and Skyrim.
