Would you ever try taking the level 1 challenge in a Kingdom Hearts game?

Heck no, man.

Never done it before and I have no intentions of doing it in the future either. 

No.  Never.  That's a kind of challenge I wouldn't like to take.

Nope. That's not really my thing.

I currently have a Level 1 Critical Mode Ventus file in BBS Final Mix. So far, if Land of Departure doesn't count as a completed world, I have currently cleared 2 worlds. I haven't gotten back into it yet, but if I ever find the time to, I will try my hardest once more!

I'd like to try it on any KH game! Probably BBS first, since that's my personal favorite KH game.

I've heard stories of Level 1 playthroughs, and even though I've played all the Kingdom Hearts games in their hardest difficulties...I have to say that I probably wouldn't be able to survive a Level 1 playthrough! That's just crazy!  How can a person play through a whole Kingdom Hearts game, with increasingly difficult bosses, and manage to beat the game just like that?  It's witchcraft, I tell you!

 

But yeah, I guess I could try it out one day! X3

I'm currently doing a LVL 1 Critical Mode Kingdom Key only run in KH2FM HD, and I'm doing a LVL 1 Proud Mode in KHFM HD (might be a Kingdom Key only run, I'm currently stuck on Clayton), and I'm doing a LVL 1 Critical Mode Kingdom Key only run in 358/2 Days and Re: Coded. So the answer is yes!

I wouldn't ever bother. 

I'm not a good enough player to bother with it, and I don't play KH to have Sora killed every three seconds due to lack of skill. 

I applaud anyone who tries it, though.

I'm trying to think of a tongue in cheek snarky reply but I'm too tired to be saucy, so you win this round,

I beat level 1 critical on BBS on PSP with Ven and I haven't gotten around to trying any other games on lvl1 crit yet

i've tried them before. attempted level 1 runs in BBS, KH1FM, KH2FM and DDD. BBS and DDD felt too unfair and as for KHFM and KH2FM i just stopped for no specific reason. 

No, seems like a huge time and effort sink and I'm lacking both these days. 

Did it for Kingdom Hearts Final Mix made it all the way to the last room before the final save point and I can't beat the heartless.

 

Never did it with Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix yet probably will at some point

 

For the original Birth by Sleep I got to the end with all three of them but only beat Ventus story can get to the second boss for the other two but just can't beat them

 

Tried it for Dream Drop Distance but could not even put a dent in the The City of Bells boss as either Sora or Riku

 

Did a few missions in Coded at Level 1 and I think I actually beat the game

Yup, I've beaten KHFM and KH2FM both respectively at level 1. It's such an awesome and fun challenge. I can't wait to try out KH3D HD Remaster's level 1 assuming that they tweaked it like they have for the HD version of BBS. ALso I look forward to KH3's level 1 run as well/

Maybe it's just me. But it's really not that hard, honestly. I've done it for both KHFM and KH2FM and I completed them both at lvl 1. Though I will admit that there are a few fights that will literally make you want to quit playing lvl 1 in KHFM such as the Tiger Head and the Heartles Room in TEOTW. As for KH2FM, it's pretty easy imo. Aside from the optional bosses such as Lingering Will, Data Org XIII, ect.

as for the lvl 1 runs for the original BBS, yeah it's crap. Thank goodness they tweaked it in 2.5 lol. And as for KH3D's level 1 runs, it is pure garbage because of how unbalanced the game is. I really do hope they tweak it the same way they did for BBS because DDD's lvl 1 run is not worth it. I'll gladly wait to see if they actually balanced it for 2.8.

re:coded - Critical LV1 - finished (didn't do the last one or two sectors lol)

Days - Proud LV1 - unfinished

DDD - Critical LV1 - unfinished (and probably abandoned)

 

iirc these were before I got I.5 and II.5. Idk if I'll do LV1s for those.

I've done it multiple times.

 

KH2FM three times. (I've got Silver Crown only once. (And Gold Crown in the same run with Magic Boosts to Donald before I knew you shouldn't do that in Level 1.))

BBSFM once for each character. The fact you can get Second Chance and Once More and Mines and Surges make the game easier than expected.

KHDDD I tried but I couldn't finish that damn Spellican. (That was before I knew about Balloon + Spirit Roar -exploit)

Hell naw!!!!!!!

I've done Terra in BBS, and I've tried it in DDD, and I feel that I can do it, but it just takes so much effort and time that it just isn't worth it, especially when DDD and BBS are the games I like the least along with Re: Coded.

 

KH1 and 2 would be too hard, I could try, but that would just mean even more effort and time.

I've done it. KH2FM(2.5). I had some pretty angry times

Still, I can't do the last wave of nobodies in Cavern of Remembrance...
